Big Rig Nation is driver accountability media.

We analyze real trucking contracts, settlement statements, lease agreements, and pay structures to show drivers how the industry actually operates—using documentation, not opinions.

This channel exists to provide transparency, accountability, and education for company drivers, lease operators, and owner-operators making high-risk financial decisions.

Big Rig Nation also highlights industry issues, driver experiences, and systemic problems affecting trucking today—but all coverage is grounded in facts, documentation, and real-world outcomes.

We do not sell freight, or accept payment to promote carriers. When companies, programs, or pay models are discussed, it is strictly for educational and informational purposes based on documented evidence—not rumors or personal attacks.

Our role is simple:
Put the facts in front of drivers so they can decide for themselves.

They tried to discredit us.
Today—we go national.
Hurricane Express put out a hit piece…
but they didn’t address the one thing that matters:
The numbers. The settlements. The pattern.
Now we’re taking it off social media
and putting it where they can’t spin it—
SiriusXM. Channel 146. Road Dog Trucking Radio.
This isn’t about me.
This is about every driver who’s looked at a settlement
and knew something didn’t add up.

🛑 STOP TALKING. START BUILDING.
The trucking industry is stuck in a loop. Same stories, same scams, same results. If you’re tired of watching the cycle repeat, it’s time to stop venting in truck stop breakrooms and start building a resource backed by drivers that actually fights back.

We aren’t looking for a crowd. We’re looking for 10 Leaders.

This Isn’t a Group. It’s an Enforcement Resource.
We are moving past "talking in circles." We are gathering the data—settlements, contracts, and evidence—to challenge the industry where it hurts: Legally.

We are targeting the systematic failures. Here are some examples:
We are going after the "Structure" that relies on you staying quiet and undocumented:

Fuel Surcharge Skimming: Auditing settlements against original shipper contracts. If your contract says 100% of the FSC goes to you, and the carrier is pocketing a dime—that’s theft.

W-2 Detention Theft: Targeting companies that refuse to pay W-2 drivers for their time at the dock. Sitting for 4+ hours for $0 isn't "part of the job"—it’s unpaid labor.

The "Starvation" Model: Documenting companies that squeeze W-2 and Lease drivers by withholding miles to prioritize their own internal contract freight.

Shipper & Warehouse Extortion: Going after facilities holding drivers past 4 hours and the predatory lumper fees that violate 49 U.S. Code § 14103.

Lease-Purchase Traps: Programs structured for failure from Day 1, designed to take the truck back after you’ve already paid for it.

HOS Coercion: If a delay forces you into a safety violation, the shipper and carrier are liable. We are documenting the patterns to prove it.

The Goal: Evidence-Based Pressure.
Individual complaints are ignored. Patterns of evidence are litigated. We are building a watchdog that uses real driver data to force transparency and accountability at scale.

Are You One of the 10?
If you’re ready to put structure behind the struggle, read the image and reach out.

The system hasn’t changed because it hasn't had to. Let’s change that.

🚨 Diesel is almost $5 per gallon in the United States right now.

And most drivers think that hurts everyone the same.

It doesn’t.

In fact… diesel spikes often help large carriers while crushing owner-operators.

Here’s why.

Large trucking companies usually have:
• Massive fuel discount programs
• Fuel surcharge contracts with shippers
• Hedged fuel pricing or bulk buying power

That means when diesel jumps, the shipper often covers the increase through a fuel surcharge.

But here’s the problem for the small guy…

Most owner-operators running the spot market don’t have that protection.

So when fuel spikes:

➡️ Their fuel cost jumps immediately
➡️ The load rate usually doesn’t
➡️ Brokers still try to move freight at the same cheap rate

And suddenly that load that looked profitable yesterday is now barely covering fuel.

Meanwhile the big carriers?

They’re still collecting the surcharge.

This is one of the hidden dynamics in trucking that most drivers don’t realize.

When fuel spikes, weak operators get pushed out of the market.

And the companies with the biggest contracts get stronger.

That’s the difference between running a truck… and controlling freight.🚛

🚨 DRIVERS — WATCH THIS BEFORE YOU SIGN ANYTHING 🚨

Next week, Big Rig Nation is breaking down what trucking companies can and cannot legally do when it comes to drivers — especially when you’re leaving a company.
We’re covering: • W-2 vs 1099 — where the line actually is

• Termination paperwork vs release-of-claims
• NDAs and non-disparagement clauses
• Escrow withholding and “policy” excuses
• What to do if a company pressures you to sign to get paid

This isn’t opinion.
This is structure.

Too many drivers are losing money and rights because they’re rushed, scared, or misinformed at the worst possible moment — the exit.
If a company tells you: “Sign this or you don’t get your escrow,”
“Policy says we can hold it,”
or
“This is standard paperwork,”

You need to understand what’s real — and what isn’t.

📌 Do NOT sign blindly
📌 Do NOT rely on recruiter explanations
📌 Do NOT assume “policy” equals law
We’ll walk through real scenarios, what to document, and how to respond the right way — without burning bridges or hurting your future.

👇 Comment if you’ve been pressured on the way out.

Drivers First.
Structure Always.

Big Rig Nation

This isn’t one video.
This is an entire week.

Starting today at 5:00 PM EST, and continuing all week long, we’re breaking down the one thing that decides whether a driver succeeds or gets quietly drained in this industry:

Structure.

This applies to W-2 drivers, 1099 drivers, lease operators, and owner-operators.

Here’s the part nobody teaches drivers:

It doesn’t matter what the freight pays.
It doesn’t matter what your payments are.
It doesn’t matter what logo is on the truck.

That’s all just doing business.

What actually matters is how the company is structured:

How money flows

How risk is shifted

How bad weeks are created

How good weeks are controlled

How drivers are kept stuck or allowed to grow

When you learn structure, you stop being sold a job and start evaluating a business model.

You stop listening to opinions.
You stop chasing one “good week.”
You stop confusing luck with sustainability.

You learn how the company does business — instead of letting the business be done to you.

That’s how drivers end up in some of the best positions they’ll ever have in trucking.

Bad weeks aren’t bad luck.
They’re the average of a bad system.

All week. Starting today at 5:00 PM EST.
This is driver education most people never get — and it changes everything.
