So I had planned on another live this week. As of right now I'm not sure I'll be able to do so. Currently in the middle of a move. Should be (fingers crossed) moved by Wednesday or Thursday this week. Granted, we are only moving to the house in front of us (larger, more room for my kiddos, can help the ma in law better, can help fix issues that arise for her) but it's still disruptive to my normal schedule. IF I can do the live I'll set it up day of and do a community post. That being said, I do have this week (and partial for next week) already recorded and I'm trying to get things edited (or receive the edits) for uploading. I've got some pretty interesting reactions upcoming on this channel and for the secondary channel as well.

We had a thunderstorm roll through last night and had a lightning strike close to the house. Lights went off, came right back on.. With the exception of my modem. I have a Hotspot on my phone to run things around the house but I have the issue of no wifi/Bluetooth driver on my pc. Its wired to the router (still working but useless atm). So for at least the next few days I have no way of putting out what I have recorded or even a way of editing to upload to YouTube.

No video today. Need to do recording as much as possible for the channels and my poor Patreon folks who probably think I've abandoned them at this point and look at getting storage expansion. Also, if you're following the Vikings and Ted Lasso shows, I've got the next two to upload on the show and movie channel, after those two, it'll be more a trickle for a bit on youtube as far as those are concerned. Trying to concentrate on maximizing the content on this and the More EB channel. I really really really want to hit my goals so I can get over to the UK by September at the latest and being spread across too many channels will ultimately hinder that.

Not sure if I'll release the video on this or not but if you're an American Reacts , European Reacts, Some other nationality than the country you're reacting to reacts, and you see a video from a smaller content creator that's released a video that fits within what you would normally look at, please, for the love of all things holy, look at when the video was released before you record a reaction to it. If it's not over a month old, don't touch it. Especially if they have less than 100, 200, 300 or so thousand subs. Even then that's bad etiquette. Give the videos for those creators time to breathe. It's different if it's a major corporation or creator with massive teams behind them with millions of subs and millions of views baked in on release. Most content creators don't have that luxury, same as most of us don't have the luxury of having teams or massive numbers built in. We've all had videos hit the youtube algorithm a week or two after we put them out and wind up with over 100k views after a month. That should be built into any reaction to independent smaller creators who's content is being reacted to.

Other than hearting comments that come in on today's video for the channel I'm taking the day off. I have a massive day of recording planned for tomorrow. I feel like I'm hitting a groove again as far as content is concerned. I'll have the 3rd episode of Going Straight up on Friday since I know I missed that last week. I feel like there's a ton of stuff that I constrained myself from looking at in the name of not stepping on toes in the past that others have covered and some that because it was covered I didn't want to look like I was just following suit. Which, in hindsight, was just not intelligent. I have an overall plan going forward for the content that's to come to culminate in a trip over finally and many different forms of vlog style videos that I want to do for that.

That being said, the TT starts back in May and from May 26-June7th I plan on having normal type content for the channel for those that don't follow the TT but I plan on doing watch alongs (not putting that on screen again on Youtube after the last snafu) for the entirety of whatever is put on TT streaming app. I've missed doing the watch alongs the last 2 years and have watched it on my own but I 100% plan on rectifying that this year.

Really enjoyed and will be reacting to more QI (and similar). Fun fact, if I went into the nuance of the entirety of my views on some things, including those that grind my gears, the videos will be a lot, and I mean a lot longer. It's funny the projections made in the comments over a portion of my viewpoints on the policies that have shaped this nation negatively for more than 30 generations in this nation for a portion of the population here. Nowhere did I remove the need for personal responsibility for your own success in life. Overlooking 4 generations worth of Jim Crow and national policies or apathy in many cases that was used to prevent the ability to even attempt the accumulation of generational wealth or success can hardly be overlooked. The civil rights act of 64' was passed scarcely 2 generations ago. There have been many many strides on the issue of race made in this country. The overall outlook even from when I was growing up in the 90s is better. You have to make good choices in life there is 0 doubt and you have to work hard, there are no 2 ways about that but overlooking what has helped cause the generational poverty that's helped to create the environments that many find themselves in due to repeated cycles, well, there should be no surprise when shit works how it works. I'm also not saying that there aren't folks of all races in similar situations here in this country but most of them haven't had 100 years of laws specifically meant to discriminate against them either so take that as you will. I try not to get into the weeds about a ton of things because invariably you wind up pissing people off and creating division in your own comment section which I truly dislike. That said, my opinions are my opinions. If I do read up and research or am pointed to legitimate evidence that proves my held opinion wrong, I will admit I'm wrong. Normally if I do speak on something it's born out by personal experience and/or overall curiosity and pulling from numerous places to form the opinion that I hold. I can often argue both sides of whatever argument that is being presented (unless it's theoretical physics then I'm lost) because I'm naturally curious and seek to understand and getting 1 view point is counter productive since you don't gain a fuller grasp of some of the intricacies contained within a subject or an argument. So in the future if the picture of race in this country comes up again, or really anything that can be divisive, just know, that unless you want my full nuanced view on whatever is being discussed, you're only going to give a portion of it and whatever it is you disagree with me on, I can make your argument for you as well as the viewpoint that I also hold.

I think I've got some really good stuff coming down the pipeline. I've self sabotaged, been complacent and all kinds of inconsistent with this channel. I've got things to where across at least 3 different channels, things should be humming and way more consistent in the future. Excited for y'all to see the reactions in the coming days and weeks. Comedy, history, geography, culture as well as cooking where I can. I've got goals for subs, and more for the rest of the year, along with other goals and plans that I think will help fill out and extend things on the channel from an overall perspective. I think segmenting my content with the UK content, shows, and then other Euro and beyond content will massively help along multiple layers as well.
