This almost broke me (then I fixed it)

You know that feeling, "I’m blocking everyone, everyone needs me"?

I started feeling that way earlier this year and if you've been there, you know it's like being in a pressure cooker. Everyone always needing your eyes on something.

But pre-making content, pre-AI, for about 10 years Alex Bass and I helped small and mid-sized businesses systemize their processes, so we knew where we were going wrong.

We had to get everything out of our head into proper systems.

Here's the rule we follow:

Every time we need to do the same thing (or answer the same question 3+ times), it needs a system.

But when you're running around, drowning in work, spending time creating a system is the last thing you want to do.

Well, we found ourselves creating a system...for creating systems that made them more doable and didn't feel like such a chore.

So we put together a video showing you a step-by-step of the new way we're building our systems now in 2026, so that we can stay sane, unblock our team, and, you know, take a vacation once in a while without everything stopping 😅

We went for a walk around the river (it was 80 degrees out!) and then came home and have been playing a video game called Inscryption all evening, it’s so addictive and fun!
