Le Chateau Chihuahua opened for Christmas Eve Dinner service for Maya, Loki, Lucy and Ozzy, and I have to say, the chi-piglets made out pretty well. After dinner, the furbabies opened their presents before going into a food coma.

Our friends across the pond (Ocean) received our package. Zachary our superfan received our package from the United States to his home in the UK. He did an unboxing on his channel, and it is well worth the watch. (Link is below) All of us used to American candy know that some of it is very good, and some of it is....well....not so very good. I wanted him to experience candy across the ages, so he got everything from Good and Plenty (ewww) to Giardelli Chocolate squares (OMG YUM). His little dog Max also got a treat from us in the package, from our dogs to him.

Marcus, Zachary & Riley, you guys made me laugh so much. We are so happy that you enjoyed the experience of tasting all that stuff. Comments were off for your video so I could not comment. To answer the question about the mystery flavor Airhead candy, I had to look it up online for an answer.

At the Airheads factory, each flavor of candy is made in large batches before being dyed, portioned, and packaged. To make another flavor would require turning off and cleaning the machine after making the previous flavor. This process takes time and wastes some of the residual candy in the machine.

A popular theory posits that instead of cleaning out the old flavor, they simply add in the new one and allow it all to churn together, creating a blended flavor that they use for Mystery Airheads. From there, they can transition to the next flavor without having to clean out the machine—saving time and money in the process.

That also means that not every batch will include the same combination or ratio of flavors. One Mystery Airhead may taste totally different than the other. But because there are no colored dyes to indicate what it may taste like, it’s much harder to identify the difference.
