I feel honoured to have had the opportunity to perform in the gracious presence of Hon’ble Minister of State for Home Affairs, Shri Nityanand Rai Ji, whose leadership and presence made the occasion even more significant. The BRICS Ministerial Meeting on Disaster Risk Reduction was chaired by Shri Nityanand Rai and brought together Ministers and Heads of Delegation from BRICS member countries.

My deepest gratitude to the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), the Ministry of Commerce, and the BRICS 2026 team for giving us the opportunity to contribute through music to such an important international platform.

For me, this was more than a performance.

It was an opportunity to let the Siddha Veena speak—not merely through notes and melodies, but as a representation of India’s extraordinary musical heritage and its timeless tradition of cultural exchange.

With Riwayat – Unique Fusion Band, our endeavour has always been to create a meaningful dialogue between tradition and contemporary expression, while carrying the spirit of Indian music to diverse audiences across the world.

A performance of this scale is never the journey of one artist—it is the collective heartbeat of an entire team.

To perform Indian music in the presence of distinguished national and international guests, and to witness culture becoming a bridge between people and nations, is an experience I will cherish deeply.
