Stray Paws of Istanbul

As many of you know, there is a lot of stray paws in Istanbul and I try my best to take care of them. I feed and pet them after work and also on the weekends. I will be sharing some of the moments with you.

Stray Paws of Istanbul

I’m finally back! ❤️

I’ve returned from my mandatory military service, and I honestly have so many things to say.

It was a hard experience. The training was extremely hot and tiring. We spent most of the day outside, often under the sun with absolutely no shade, so the heat made everything even harder.

But despite how difficult it was, the experience also made me appreciate so many things in my life that I probably took for granted before.

I met a lot of good people from all around Turkey, and I’m really happy to say that I even made some genuinely great new friends along the way. Despite how difficult the experience was, I’m grateful for the people I met.

And of course… I was still feeding cats even in the army. 😂

There were a couple of kittens around, and one of them had crossed eyes, so I named her Şaşı. I would feed them with my leftovers, and sometimes, depending on what food they gave us, I would even skip eating and take my eggs or chicken to them instead.

I’m so, so happy to be back with my cats here in Istanbul.

And I’m incredibly happy to be back with you as well.

After I arrived, I finally had the chance to read all of your comments. Seeing all the support you gave me honestly meant so much. I feel really lucky to have such a wonderful and supportive community. Thank you for waiting for me and for continuing to support the channel while I was gone.

And now… the reunions have already started!

I’ve already met Portakal, Siren, Panter, and some of my other cats.

But I still haven’t been able to find Geveze, Hugzy, Latte, Thief, Mia, Beemer, and some of the others.

I’m going to check on them again tomorrow.

I really hope all the cats I haven’t seen yet are okay.

And yes… the reunion videos are coming ASAP.

After being away for a month, I can’t wait to see their reactions.

Thank you again for being here.

I love you all. ❤️

Hi everyone! I wanted to let you know that on August 8th, I'll be leaving for my one-month military service.

The good news is that you won't notice I'm gone. 😊 I've already scheduled all of my videos, so new videos will continue to be published as usual while I'm away.

I also made sure our park kitties are taken care of. I found people to feed them, and I stocked up on plenty of cat food beforehand, so they won't go hungry.

The only thing I'm a little worried about is the two foster kittens currently staying with me. I haven't found them forever homes yet, but I'll continue looking for the perfect families as soon as I get back.

Before I go, I just want to say thank you to everyone who watches my videos, leaves comments, shares them, or supports my work in any way. I truly couldn't have done this for the past 5 years without you, including 3 years of doing this full-time.

Because of your support, we've found loving homes for at least 700 cats and kittens and helped save countless stray cats along the way. Every rescue, every bag of food, every medical treatment it all happened because of this amazing community.

I'm incredibly grateful for every single one of you, and I can't wait to come back and get back to my daily kitty routine.

See you all in a month! 🧡🐈

P.S. First kitty is Aslan. He is a sweet boi.
Second kitty is Harika (Amazing), who had major surgery on his leg. More of his story on Instagram.

Hey everyone ❤️

I wanted to finally share something important with you all. On August 6, I’ll be leaving for military service.

First of all, thank you so much to everyone who supported me last year and helped me afford the paid military service option. Because of your support, I’ll only be gone for 28 days instead of 6 months, and I genuinely can’t express how grateful I am for that.

I know it took me a long time to make a post about this. Things have been very busy lately, and I’ve been focusing on filming, editing, and uploading more videos for the channel, which is one of the reasons I delayed talking about it.

At the same time, I’ve also been rescuing a lot of purebred cats from the streets and trying to find them safe, forever homes. While I don’t usually post full rescue stories on YouTube, I do share more behind-the-scenes rescue work and updates on Instagram and Facebook.

Facebook: www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61554881767814

The good news is: the channel will still stay active while I’m away. I’ve been preparing videos in advance, so you’ll continue seeing new uploads during those 28 days. 🐾

Thank you again for supporting me, the cats, and this community. What started as simple street cat videos became something much bigger because of all of you, and I truly appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.

Hi everyone,

First of all, thank you so much for your support and for encouraging me to make short-form content. Because of you, I’ve now created pages on YouTube Shorts, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
If you enjoy the videos, it would really mean a lot if you could follow and support us there too, especially on YouTube Shorts. Your support there helps the videos reach more people and ultimately helps more stray cats. I’m sharing only the best moments on those platforms.
All links are down below.

Now, a little update about Marcel 🐱He’s been doing so much better lately, he stopped peeing on the floors and has become much calmer. And the best news… we found him a loving forever home!
He will be going to his new home this Wednesday. The person who adopted him actually had a cat that looked exactly like Marcel and had the same issue before, so he truly understands the situation. He’s patient, experienced, and ready to support Marcel even if stress causes any setbacks in the beginning.
I’m really happy Marcel is going to someone who will give him the time and care he deserves
Thank you all again for being part of this journey.

Hello everyone, I hope you’re doing well. I wanted to share an update about my cat Leo and the blue point cat Sky and also ask for a little help.

Leo recently went to the vet for a general check-up, and thankfully, he has fully recovered from the virus. He’s been doing really well, and I’m hoping he continues to stay healthy.

Sky had a few adjustment issues in his new home, but nothing health-related. At first, his new family’s other cat didn’t get along with him, but now they’re best friends. Sky is healthy, happy, and truly loved in his new home.

I’m grateful that both Leo and Sky are doing so well. Unfortunately, I’ve been struggling financially this year, and things have been getting harder. I could really use your help with the vet and care bills.
Thank you in advance for any support, and I hope you all have a wonderful day.

I hope everyone having a wonderful day. I wanted to update you guys about Leo’s and Sky’s health.

Yes he got adopted by a wonderful family and they named our Blue Point boy as Sky! Actually it was the same person I was talking about recent post. Even though he got sick and she had a cat(contagious disease), she didn’t give up on adopting him. She took him into her apartment and quarantining him at the moment. Sky doing good and started to eating without assistance. Our vet suggested at least one more week quarantine. Right now he is doing great.

Leo my beautiful boy had rough couple of days but doing better. Even the vets and me got scared because he could have cat chlamydia. After some expensive but luckily negative tests, we learned that he is kind of expriencing a severe cat flu. Right now his watery eye is almost back to normal. He has no fever. Less sneezing. And still trying to gain his appetite. Hopefully he will be much better next week. I’m glad to see him more healthy every day.

Im really grateful for you guys. We raised more than the half of the amount needed. But I need your help. If you have the means please consider supporting us. Thank you in advance.

I need your help to cover my veterinary bills. After recent incident it’s piling up very quickly.
I found a Blue Point cat in the park. He was abandoned. I tried to gain his trust for two months. He was so skittish, he was always running away from me. After giving him daily food and tries. He finally started to come closer to me and one day I catched him.
I took him to the vet first. For vaccines and sterilization. He stayed there over a week. After that I took him into my home to find him a home.
Finally I found him a perfect home. But on the last day at my home he started to stop eating and obviously was sick. I took him to the vet again and they said it was a cat flu and it’s contagious.
My cat Leo got sick too… They are treating him for 5 days now at the clinic and he is getting better. On the other hand Leo is doing not so great at the moment but I hope he will get better soon…
Because of some vile accusations I stopped filming my rescue stories. But Im still rescuing and finding home for cats and kittens. Right now I need your help to cover my veterinary bills. Please if you have anything to spare consider supporting. Thank you!

Because of your help, I’m going to keep my precious cat Leo, my YouTube channel, and my apartment. Basically, my whole life. We raised 77% of the amount required and for the rest of it, I took a loan. I paid the government the money for the army. I was not expecting this kind of support… I will remember this for the rest of my life. Thank you for touching my life.

I will continue to feed, neuter, and find homes for cats and kittens in Istanbul. I will share the moments with you. If you want, you can still support me and the cats in Istanbul through Buy Me a Coffee.

Thank you again for all your support. I’m so grateful for each and every one of you!

We’re at 71%! Thank you all so much for the support and help. Without you, I wouldn’t have come this far. Without you, I would have lost everything I care about.

This is the last time I’m asking for your help to reach the goal amount, because I don’t have much time left. Even if we don’t reach the goal, I’ll still have to take out a loan.

Thanks to you, I’ve been able to keep my cat Leo, care for my stray cat colony, and continue running my YouTube channel basically, my whole little routine. I’m truly grateful.

For those who don’t know my situation, let me explain:

In Turkey, military service is mandatory. You either pay 275,000 TRY (about $7,150 USD), or you must serve for 6 months. Even if you pay, you’re still required to serve for 26 days.

If I go for the full 6 months, I’ll lose everything especially my cat, Leo. He means the world to me, and I have no one who can take care of him while I’m gone for 6 months.

Thank you again for all your support.

We're at 63%! Additionally, I have 17 days left until I need to pay the government. I'm not sure we'll reach our target, but I'm still grateful to all of you. Without your help and support, I wouldn't have been able to reach this far. Big thank you for each and every one of you! For those who don't know the story;

For those who don’t know my situation, here’s what’s going on:
In Turkey, military service is mandatory. I have two options:
a) Pay 275,000 Turkish Liras (about $7,150 USD) and serve for 26 days,
b) Or serve 6 full months without pay.

If I’m gone for 6 months, I’ll lose my apartment, my cat Leo, and my YouTube channel, which is my only source of income. Without that, I won’t be able to take care of Leo or continue helping the stray cats I support.

I’m genuinely overwhelmed by the love and support you’ve shown me. You’ve lifted me up not just financially, but emotionally too. Your kind words, prayers, encouragement, and the way some of you even searched for other ways to help touched me more deeply than I can express. Honestly, not even my own family has done what you’ve done for me. That means more than I’ll ever be able to put into words. In a world that often feels cold and indifferent, your support reminded me that kindness still exists. There are good people out there; you are proof of that.

Thank you for being here. Thank you for caring. Thank you for simply being you.

I still need to gather $2,650 more. If we can’t raise the full amount through donations, I’ll be taking a loan—but thanks to you, I’ll be able to keep going. Because of your support, I won’t have to stop what I’m doing… and most importantly, Leo and I won’t be separated.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
