Step by step solutions to selected questions from Rosyth School's 2026 Math Prelim Paper 2 now available. I find this to be the most challenging of the 2026 paper 2's that I've done so far.
As kids move to upper Primary levels, they tend to rely more heavily on calculators. I feel that the basics of fractions is still very important, and often, calculating manually could even be faster with the use of fraction simplification
When people talk about difficult PSLE math questions, very often they say most children are too young to solve such questions. However, these questions are 'difficult' because: 1) they might cover several topics within 1 questions (eg. Fractions + logic + algebra) 2) too little exposure to different kinds of such questions
Firstly, do not limit the mind to think within just 1 math topic. And more importantly, doing more of such questions trains the mind to think of different ways to solve problems, using all they have learnt. Thus, I've put together a playlist of 'Thinking questions'
As students start wrapping up all topics and gear up for the prelims, here are a few tips on how to revise and get ready for the exams! #staycalm#countdowntoprelims#examprep
