Prayer for Hurricane Protection and Healing

Lord, we come before You, trusting in Your power and love. Your word tells us that the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective, and today we stand in that truth, lifting up the people, families, and communities affected by the hurricane.

We ask for Your protection over the Sarasota area and all places in the path of the storm. Calm the winds and the waters, and guide those in the midst of danger to safety. Be with those who have lost their homes, their possessions, and even their peace. Comfort them with Your presence and give them strength to rebuild.

Lord, we also lift up the first responders and all those providing aid. Grant them wisdom and resilience. Help us to be Your hands and feet in these trying times, offering support, love, and resources where they are needed most.

We trust in Your power to bring peace in the storm and healing after it has passed. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
