Katie Wilken is a high school teacher in Rapid City, SD during the school year, a ranch hand on her family’s ranch in Meadow, SD during the summer, and shares baking content on her YouTube channel all year round. She has enjoyed reading cookbooks and baking with her grandma from a very young age and began doing desserts for weddings in high school. Since then, she has done numerous weddings, created countless birthday cakes, and started a YouTube channel where she uses her loves of teaching and baking to share ideas. Katie focuses on the importance of celebrating everything through food and making people feel special! She recently appeared as a contestant on the Silo’s Baking Competition.
