Hello and welcome to the Hattori Han channel!

We are a US-based historical reenacting & research group that covers the Imperial Japanese Military from 1900 to 1945.
The purpose of this channel is to explore the period uniforms and equipment of Imperial Japanese soldiers and their opponents. We will also post content from our group's tactical or living history reenacting events from time to time.

This channel is strictly non-political and is meant for educational purposes only.

THANK YOU FOR 100K SUBSCRIBERS!

Hello everybody,

We never expected our channel to ever reach such a milestone in a short amount of time for such a niche (but important) aspect of the World War II reenacting community so we are still quite speechless. We would like to extend our gratitude to everyone that have subscribed, liked and shared our videos, left positive comments or interesting questions on our videos. We have more interesting videos planned in the near future so stay tuned!

Much thanks to everyone again for your continued support.

We also have a community discord server for fellow reenactors, collectors, history enthusiasts, or anyone wishing to stop by and say hello: discord.gg/KwaTrTcxTT

Hello all!

We’ve created a discord server for those who are interested in Japanese military reenacting or historical reenacting in general. Hopefully in the future, we’ll have enough people and activity to do monthly in-server competitions and other events.

Greetings all!

We never expected our shorts to blow up tremendously and we were very much surprised by this, but nevertheless, YouTube has decided to bless us (or curse us) with millions of views these past few days. To the many thousands of new subscribers, welcome to our channel and we hope you stay for what is to come.

To those who don’t know us yet, we are a reenacting unit located mostly around the Southeastern region of the United States and primarily portray the Imperial Japanese forces from 1900-1945. From time to time, we also portray other nations of the time period such as China and Korea.

For future content, we’ll try our best to upload more long format videos. The uniforms and equipment of the Chinese and Japanese forces during the Battle of Shanghai, 1937 is something that we’ll be working on quite soon.

Thank you all very much for hitting the subscribe button and stay tuned for more updates!
