@TomBilyeu and I first thought we would be a summer fling. Well 24 years of celebrating each other's birthdays, 24 valentines Days, 24 new years eve kisses together... yep I think its safe to say.... we're serious about each other lol 🤣
But in all seriousness there's so much to say about our relationship but the best way I can sum it up is by saying... even with alllll the things I have done in my life like building the billion dollar company Quest, Building Impact Theory and Women of Impact and writing my #1 book Radical Confidence.... my relationship with my hubby is by FAAAAAR, HANDS FRIKIN DOWN the hardest and MOST rewarding thing in my entire life! Yep! Its INCREDIBLY rewarding but I aint gonna lie.... its also bloody hard growing, changing and seeing your partner do the same, ALLLLL while trying to stay aligned and connected! I mean think about it!
I met Tom when I was 21 years old!!! Since then I went from saying I wanted 4 children to then saying I didnt want any. Talk about trying to navigate THAT change! And let's be real... another man could have left me for that! And on the flip side.... Tom who was 24 when I met him, went from being someone who was SUPER attentive (writing me poetry and songs for me) to working 110 hour weeks and me eating dinner alone 6 days out of 7. So let's also be real... another woman could have left him for that "neglect"! So when you see us happily together, its because we have chosen to make our relationship our biggest priority. We have chosen to say the hard things to each other even when it was easier not to. We have chosen to set boundaries with each other. We have communicated endlessly until we can repeat each others view points. We dont agree on a lot of things but we choose to respect each others opinions. We go to bed angry knowing its the best thing for us. We never ever make promises we can't keep. And while there is so much more I will end with this one.... we never EVVVVER (like ever ever) joke about divorce. Not even if it would make for a funny joke! NOPE! That word is what we call "voldemort" in the Bilyeu household! Why? Because safety and security in our relationships is our highest value!

DROP IN A “HELLS YEH” 👇 if this is you!!!
When I first got married to @TomBilyeu I committed to being a supportive stay at home wife for just 18 months, while he went out to earn enough money for us to make movies. I could do that. 18 months is nothing. It was a challenge and I was up for it! So I cooked. I cleaned. I paid the bills. I clipped coupons. But 18 months turned into 8 years, and by then, it got hard to feel good about how clean the bathtub was. So I looked to Tom. I looked to him to make me feel special. To make me feel validated. And I'm sure its no surprise to hear that it ended in disaster! Because on the days he was having a bad day, on the days he was distracted, on the days he was just tired and didn't notice I got my hair done, on those days I felt badly about myself.
But once we started Quest, once I started to find what drove me, what lit me on fire, I started to find my own value. And from then on I can proudly say that this man has stood by my side... while I validate.... myself!

Hard things suck waaaaay less when you have good peeps around. So find those weirdos who enjoy the same adventures as you!!! The 'Hill Study' done by the University of Virginia shows that homies don’t just hype you up, they actually make tough things feel LESS tough. Yep, even climbing a mountain🤯
Lets face it, when a homie has your back, there's NOTHING you can't do!!! Tag your girls and let them know what they mean to you!

Ever feel like you're speaking a totally different language than the men in your life? Same, girl.🤯
That’s why I finally sat down with Jason Wilson — author of The Comprehensive Man — to ask the real questions: Why do men say one thing and do another? Why do they shut down emotionally? And how the hell are we supposed to communicate through all that?
This is not your average “understand men” conversation. Jason opens up about emotional incarceration, why some men confuse sex with love, and the silent battles they're fighting that we don’t see — but NEED to. There’s a story he shares that hit me so hard, I started tearing up mid-interview. I didn’t see it coming.💔
If you want better relationships, deeper communication, and to protect your heart without losing your empathy, this episode is a must-watch. Tap the link to see the full convo now 👉https://youtu.be/h5JhLNRCj6o?si=qsABU...

Self care can be damn hard when you care so much about others. So I'm not gonna bs you and say "Who cares! You do you!" Because the truth is I don't feel like that. I HATE letting people down. Like in the pit of my stomach it makes me feel terrible. And I don't actually want to start seeing “caring about people” as a negative thing. So i just own that yes, yes i care if i let someone down. But... (yes of course theres a but) over the years with so many health issues I have had, I can truly and honestly say that there is nothing... and i literally mean NOTHING more important than your mental and physical health. Like nothing. Hit me with something!
My relationship with Tom? Well I learnt the hard way with my severe gut issue that it’s not much of a thriving relationship when you can barely stand up from the pain.
My business? Well, when I had brain fog and became extremely forgetful it was no longer a business I can really be excited about and focus on.
My family and friends? When you can barely muster the energy to text them because you're so malnutrition it's hard to hang out and be there for them if they need you.
So I come back to this quote. While yes, yes its bloody heartbreaking, if taking care of yourself means letting someone down. But, heartbreaking or not, let. Them. Down.

It's so damn heartbreaking to think that not even that long ago we women couldn't get our own bank accounts! 🤬
But it IS so damn empowering that here we are, decades later, and us ladies are now building our own frikin companies and taking names! 👊 But that wouldn’t be possible without all the amazing women that paved the way and came before us!! Their strength is what has allowed us to be where we are today where we can make our own choices!
Yep, we've come a loooong way my homies, and the best is still yet to come! 💪

How did I end up with a man that loves me more than life itself? Well when you finally decide you're done "romanticizing confusion" then it sets the stakes for you to go out and actually meet someone who values YOU for you! 💪❤️

Came in a little late to the #Barbietrend party thanks to a week of health curveballs 😮💨 BUT I had to show up with my Podcaster / Fur Mama / Artist Barbie🎙️🐾🎨 (1977 collector’s edition, baby🤣)
Growing up, I actually HATED Barbies! She was an echo of everything I wasn't. Pretty. Tall. Blue eyes and blonde hair. But damn if I came across this.... a Barbie who looked like me AND who had MY “weird” interests, who didn't fit the mold, and still showed up every day?
I might not be the blondest or tallest Barbie, but I’m definitely the happiest, fiercest, and most appreciative of my skills and accessories! (specially MY Ken Tom Bilyeu) ✨
