Yes yes we've all heard it- "its the hard times that makes you stronger". And while we can intellectually process that it is true, lets be real, its a veeeeeeery different story when you are steaming out of both ears from the fury over something your partner just said to you! 😡💨In that moment the laaaaaast thing you're thinking is "Im so glad this is happening because its making us stronger." NO! Maybe you go silent. Maybe you clap back. Maybe you walk away. Maybe you never see them again. Or maybe just maybe, you can weather the storm. Decide to communicate. Decide you are a team. And while this really really realllllly sucks right now, you respect each other enough to never cross the line. You love each other enough to fight for the relationship. And ist after that. Affffffter the grueling struggle are you able to come out the other end even stronger. But you know what? After 25 years of being with this man, I can truly and honestly say... its absolutely worth it!!

@TomBilyeu and I first thought we would be a summer fling. Well 25 years of celebrating each other's birthdays, 25 valentines Days, 25 new years eve kisses together... yep I think its safe to say.... we're serious about each other lol 🤣
But in all seriousness there's so much to say about our relationship but the best way I can sum it up is by saying... even with the alllll the things I have done in my life like building the billion dollar company Quest, Building Impact Theory and Women of Impact and writing my #1 book Radical Confidence.... my relationship with my hubby is by FAAAAAR, HANDS FRIKIN DOWN the hardest and MOST rewarding thing in my entire life! Yep! Its INCREDIBLY rewarding but I aint gonna lie.... its also bloody hard growing, changing and seeing your partner do the same, ALLLLL while trying to stay aligned and connected! I mean think about it!
I met Tom when I was 21 years old!!! Since then I went from saying I wanted 4 children to then saying I didnt want any. Talk about trying to navigate THAT change! And let's be real... another man could have left me for that! And on the flip side.... Tom who was 24 when I met him, went from being someone who was SUPER attentive (writing me poetry and songs for me) to working 110 hour weeks and me eating dinner alone 6 days out of 7. So let's also be real... another woman could have left him for that "neglect"! So when you see us happily together, its because we have chosen to make our relationship our biggest priority. We have chosen to say the hard things to each other even when it was easier not to. We have chosen to set boundaries with each other. We have communicated endlessly until we can repeat each others view points. We dont agree on a lot of things but we choose to respect each others opinions. We go to bed angry knowing its the best thing for us. We never ever make promises we can't keep. And while there is so much more I will end with this one.... we never EVVVVER (like ever ever) joke about divorce. Not even if it would make for a funny joke! NOPE! That word is what we call "voldemort" in the Bilyeu household! Why? Because safety and security in our relationships is our highest value!
