In Matthew 12:30, Jesus makes a clear, statement:

He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad. NKJV

“Anyone who isn’t with me opposes me, and anyone who isn’t working with me is actually working against me.” NLT.

There is no middle ground. Many think they can stay “neutral” about Jesus — not opposing Him, but not committing to Him either. Yet Jesus says neutrality is impossible. If you are not actively for Him, you are, by default, against Him.




But this choice also puts you in the sights of the enemy. The moment you stand for Christ, the forces of darkness will do everything to turn you back. This is why 1 Peter 5:8–9 warns us:

“Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith…”


The good news is that God has not left us unprotected. Ephesians 6:11 urges us:

“Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.”

And in Ephesians 6:13–14, Paul continues:

“Therefore take up the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore…”

So today, remember:




If you are for Him, expect opposition, but do not be afraid.

Have you not read He [Jesus] has given you the keys of the kingdom?

Stand firm in faith, clothed in the full armour of God, and you will overcome.

You’ve chosen Jesus — now stand your ground!
