I finally got my recording station set back up! It feels good to be back to recording. Even if it's only for an hour a day. Lysander is on the table this week. Let's see if I can finish him before heading off to the Challengers Cup on Friday in Salt Lake. ( Playing Orks for that event)

Man, life has been keeping me busy. I never imagined running a store would drain this much of my time. I am literally working 15 hour days most days. It is great but doesn't leave much time for other things.
After months of trying to record videos in my office at the store I have now moved my recording setup back to my home office. The goal starting next week is to spend 30-60 minutes every night recording content for the channel. I am finding I spend an hour or two wasting time when I get home from the store. Let's see if I can get a semi reliable upload schedule going again.
Thank you to those who have continued to support the channel in my absence. My next project is Captain Lysander. I will be sure to share pictures soon.

With the new Horus Heresy edition coming out I am thinking of jumping into the game. The question is, what legion do I paint my minis as? I think I have narrowed it down to Imperial Fists and Alpha Legion.
Imperial Fists I would do yellow armor with a bit of a focus on the black templar/ knightly aspect of the legion. So lots of checkers and heraldry on large smooth surfaces.
With Alpha Legion I have a paint scheme where I do matte teal-blue armor with wet blended lime green towards the base of the legs. Possibly edge highlighting with the same lime green. Then on large smooth surfaces I would free hand scales.
Both schemes would look super cool and involve a lot of free hand work. The time I will spend per mini will be the same either way. So which one should I do?

I have been pretty silent lately. (Life has been crazy busy) I have finished two of my 3 Oni from Conquest. The third one is nearly finished. Once it is done the tutorials will start to appear on here. Be watching for those. Sorry it has taken me so long to get through these.
