Viewer @paulsandin1539 had a question about lines on eufyMake E1 prints. So I took a picture of the cat magnet, and the blue dragon that didn't stick to the MacBook Air. Zooming in on the picture and looking at the cat, it looks like there are faint, slightly darker horizontal lines on the cat (look under the jacket collar on the left). I don't see anything like it on the blue dragon. When I look at the cat magnet in person, I have to be within about six inches (15cm) to see it. But even though this is built like a tank with weight to match, I managed to do it on my own!

Hello 3D Printing Friends! I was hoping to have a video out this week, but there's been a lot of family stuff going on the past couple of weeks, so I just haven't had the time to work on it. So, next week for sure!

Also, coming soon: First Look videos on the Sovol SV06 ACE, the Creality K2, and the Peopoly Magneto X. I know the Magneto has been out for a while, but Peopoly sent it over recently, I'm excited to mess with it. As Ferrous Bueller would probably say, "I find magnets very attractive."

Hello 3D Printing Friends! As 2024 starts to wind down, I wanted to let you know what's coming in the near future.

Monday's video is a departure from 3D printing content. It's a review of the WeCreat Vision 40-watt diode laser. It's a pretty cool machine. Fully enclosed, it has auto-focus, and some other cool features. It's not perfect, but it IS pretty good, and there will be one or two more videos featuring that machine later in 2024, or maybe early in 2025.

In the review queue, I've got a new printer from Sovol, and the Qidi Tech Plus4. And the Slice Engineering Mako hotend for the Bambu Lab CoreXY machines is on the way. I'm looking forward to getting that installed in an X1 Carbon!

Hello, 3D Printing friends! Channel member ‪@Stew3DPrinting‬ suggested printing a larger, flat part in ABS that had given him trouble on a different printer & bed. So, he sent the file to me and I printed it in ABS on the SliceWorx plate, in my Bambu Lab X1 Carbon. The ABS didn't warp off the bed, staying perfectly flat. Check out the result!

Hello 3D Printing Friends! This was difficult but TOTALLY worth it. Managed to get a "shoulder selfie" with the new Elegoo Orange Storm Giga! It comes in two boxes, and when it's assembled it's like a 4-foot cube. This thing is flat-out huge!
