You don’t know where life is going to take you. The journey has been great and adventures worth living for. “Amazing” However, Sometimes a price to pay.
Why something you love soooooo much, can hurt soooooo bad! Yet, ya crawl on and go anyways cause the passion, love and bond of any animal runs deep.
I woke up one day randomly after a fall a few months prior. I could not walk.
I’m not sure if I can say I taught her anything compared to what she has taught me.
When you spend 5-16 hrs a day with an animal, everyday, either working or playing it’s mind stimulating for both of us. She is so light. She can make me laugh out loud and I praise her for trying.
I am ever so grateful for the heavens above for bringing us together. When we’re together, she is “with me”, I would not be here today and “alive” without her!

A little dark arriving back home. Encountered 3 dirt bikes wanting to unleash their noise at us! Pffft…. Not a chance! Cricket couldn’t care less! If it’s operated by a human! She is not afraid!

Towards the barn, towards home, the smoke is everywhere and I hope we get more rain. I did have to put the wipers on while heading home. So we seen some wet. Let’s hope it’s smouldering from the rain and not the wind 🙏. Praying for all the people evacuated! Come on rain, bring it on!!!!

From clear sky’s to smoke filled! Left the grocery store and looked toward where we ride. Bad air quality today on Vancouver Island! Port Alberni is under evacuation and we’re not that far away. The fire is raging at the moment and we’re feeling the effects. I am rain dancing and let’s hope there is plenty. It is in the forecast. It can’t come soon enough. Port Alberni’s , Cedar Grove I hope the huge ginormous Cedars survive. Port Alberni sold our two famous water bombers to the United States! Talk about regrets I bet they have!!! 🙏 pray for us, if not for us, for our trees!! 🙏 our forests!

Window Shopping at a place we have not visited in 10 years!
That farm that is reminding Cricket of back home. It’s our local milk producer. And yes, sold in our stores.
The family that runs the farm, one of the sons and wife live on the farm smack dab in the middle of town. It’s pastures and pastures of just hay. Sold locally to locals for their livestock as well as feed for the Dairy Cows. “I grew up drinking Dairyland Milk! It’s a goody!!
