3. Control the "Pressure" on Your Filtration System
High blood pressure doesn't just hurt your heart; it destroys the delicate micro-vessels inside your kidneys. Don’t just take your pills—use a home blood pressure monitor daily. Your goal is typically under 120/80 mmHg to protect your kidneys' filtering units (nephrons).
