नागासाकी का स्टैंड बॉय -
1945 में 09 अगस्त को जापान के नागासाकी पर परमाणु बमबारी के बाद ली गई एक ऐतिहासिक तस्वीर है। इस तस्वीर में, लगभग 10 साल का एक लड़का अपने मृत भाई को पीठ पर बांधे हुए एक श्मशान के बाहर खड़ा है और अंतिम संस्कार का इंतजार कर रहा है।

एक सैनिक ने उससे कहा, "अपने मृत भाई को नीचे रख दो। तुम्हें बोझ लगेगा।"
तो बच्चे ने कहा, "यह बोझ नहीं है, मेरा भाई है..!"
सिपाही समझ गया और चुप हो गया। तब से यह तस्वीर जापान में एकता का प्रतीक बन गई है।

भाई बोझ नहीं होता है —
गिर जाए तो उठा लो,
थक जाए तो सहारा दो,
गलती हो जाए तो माफ कर दो, क्योंकि भाई भाई है, बोझ नहीं।
कभी दुनिया उसे छोड़ भी दे, तो उसे अपनी पीठ पर उठा लो...

जो अपने खून का नहीं, वह किसी का नहीं।
थोड़े से धन-संपत्ति के लिए अपनों से रिश्ता तोड़ने वालों, इस घटना से कुछ सीख लो।
