8-bit Music Theory

It's my channel-versary today! I uploaded my first video 9 years ago on the dot, completely unaware of how much it would change my life. So many notes transcribed, so many chords analyzed, so many sibelius files crashed . . .

It was a real revelation 9 years ago that anyone else other than myself would find video game music theory interesting, I was very much just trying to make the kind of videos that I wished someone else would make. So to see how the video game music community has grown, and how the broader perception of video game music has changed over the last 9 years is incredibly inspiring.
