Hey guys, DJ here , I want to apologize for a mix of uploading and not uploading things. I know I’ve uploaded a lot of instrumental music in the last couple of months and I can kinda tell that’s getting kind of old/maybe a bit annoying. I do apologize for that.

The truth is, I’ve just not really had much motivation with YouTube lately. I’m not sure if it’s a burnout or if it’s just something else, but I just can’t seem to bring myself to a really create anything right now.

I also wanna put out that most of my animation related stuff sadly has been destroyed/lost. As some would know over the years I have used mainly my phone and or iPad to animate or do most of my videos. Unfortunately, a few weeks ago, my phone finally broke. I made the mistake of turning it off and then it never turned back on. I got it turned back on once but then it crashed repeatedly and I lost absolutely everything on that phone. 8 years of my life‘s work entirely gone. I’ve been struggling ever since to work on videos and such. My iPad unfortunately has not been very useful to me either the screen recorder does not work anymore and the iPad unfortunately has stopped updating as well and I cannot afford to get a new iPad to replace it. I cannot even edit through KineMaster on the iPad anymore like I used to. Thanks to it no longer being able to update itself. I also can’t even log into YouTube through the iPad either to even upload things from it which really sucks because I had many pre-done videos that I needed to upload through the iPad, which I cannot get off the iPad either. So unfortunately, those videos are stuck on the iPad forever.

I’ve tried moving things to my laptop from time to time, but it just takes much more work than it used to. However, through my laptop, I somehow managed to recover many files of art or half finished animations even somehow luckily found every single one of my wolf character, bases, and designs. I’m not going to lie when I say that having every single one of my wolf characters still in my files was a true honest miracle in itself. Honestly, my wolf characters were probably the one thing that survived my entire phone destruction. I still have Sirus and all his friends as well as many other wolf characters from my past projects from years ago.

The thing though that’s very annoying is that I have to sit and redraw every single one of them on a separate device now which is going to take sooooooooo looonng to do, and unfortunately, I have not even started trying to redraw them yet because I’m trying to make sure I have a workable memory card first so that if this happens again, I don’t lose them again.

Speaking of redrawing and reanimating things…

I hate to say it, but thanks to the phone being destroyed, and all the data being lost with it. I even lost pretty much most of whatever was started on the following films for. NightWolf Productions🐾. I lost many of things regarding Solid Pack🐾 as well. A great deal of it was lost and for that I’m very sorry to any fans who have been trying to figure out what happened and why we haven’t had any updates for the last year or so. Whatever is left of the production is mainly sitting in the NightWolf Productions🐾 discord server. If anyone from the production happens to be reading this post and is learning about this now. I am very sorry I didn’t come forward with it sooner. I thought I would’ve had things figured out and or fixed by now before it got this far off without an explanation. You deserve to know the truth as many others do.So as much as it pains me to say this, I don’t actually know if they’re even is a production anymore at least for now I don’t know. I’m very sorry.

For those who don’t know, I used FlipaClip to draw an animate pretty much everything I make on my channel. I had one FlipaClip file that was filled with everything related to my wolf related content when the phone finally stopped working, that file went along with it. At the moment, I do not feel safe using any other device to redraw or re-create my work that I have saved unless I have a workable way to save it so I do not ever lose it again. When my old phone still worked, I learned pretty much. I’d say a half a year before this whole thing happened that the memory card wasn’t working at all. I actually thought I had found a way to fix that and it turns out I was wrong. This process of reconstruction is taking a lot longer and is becoming much harder than I thought it would be.

At the same time as this has been happening little by little, I have been losing more and more motivation for drawing and animating. I just can’t shake the feeling that all my work is gone. I’m ashamed in myself because of this happening. I know that no one can really rely on devices to work or last forever and for me I kept hoping that my phone would continue working, but I was wrong. I’ve since then switched to a new phone and it’s been very difficult for me to get accustomed to working on it for videos.

I used to have this joke like saying:

***my entire channel existence depends on this phone if it goes so it has the channel***

Whoever thought a harmless little joke, saying like that would actually be more realistic in the end.

However, just because all of this happened, does not mean I want to give up despite how hard it’s been for me to get things back on track and believe me it has been an extremely difficult recovery. I still refuse to give up so easily. I do not know how but I’m going to figure something out eventually. I’ve been in tighter spots with behind the scenes video content before, and if I was able to pull through it back then I can pull through now.

In the meantime, since I do not really have many ideas for videos at the moment, I thought I would ask you guys

What type of new videos would you guys like to see from my channel?
