I am Nina born in Nairobi, raised in Kakuma refugee camp, now walking in the light of awakening. At 26, I realized I never knew slavery existed in Africa. That silence was not ignorance it was trauma and erasure. My journey since has been about catching up to reality and carrying others with me.
Here I share the stories of Black history, Islamic history, and spiritual healing. From the enslaved African Muslims who prayed in secret to the resilience of todayβs believers, this channel is about remembrance, survival, and truth.
If youβve ever felt lost, silenced, or cut off from your roots this space is for you. Together, we will rebuild what was erased and remember that Allah is the best Historian. This is more than a channel: it is a movement of healing, reclaiming faith, and awakening one story, one voice, one heart at a time.
