Dr Banerjee is a composer, music producer, educator, and researcher with a Doctorate in World Music from the University of Oxford. Active in the music industry since the early 1990s, he has worked across Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, and Punjabi cinema, as well as on international productions in the USA, Japan, and Korea.
His work includes film scoring, background music, instrumental performance, and music production, with contributions to over 1500+ national and international projects. Since 2005, he has served as Head of Music and Sound Department on multiple feature films.
He is also a professor and mentor, delivering structured music education in Indian Classical, Western Contemporary, and Film Music.
Founder of M&M Groups, Zurich (est. 2008), this channel shares music, pedagogy, practice systems, and industry insight, bridging tradition, technology, and disciplined creativity.
