I will give it 10 out of 10 stars if I could make sure to wash my latest video so you can see all about it and see the unboxing and yes, it did cause an argument between me and my husband because he was not feeling being Mr. handyman at the moment but I needed it done. think I finally figured out what Lena at Home is really about.

It isn’t just my house.

It isn’t the clothes, the boat, the things I buy, the places I go or even all these crazy projects I somehow get myself into. 😂

It’s about something I’ve been learning myself:

I’m building a beautiful life NOW — not someday.

Not when I lose the weight.

Not when I have more money.

Not when the house is perfect.

Not when life finally settles down.

Now.

And I’m starting to think there are a lot of women here who feel the same way.

my latest video was a bit of an experiment . I had someone edit the video and the thumbnail. What do you think… it’s crazy because it doesn’t have as many views as I had expected . Leaving Las Vegas. It was fun but everything to me was super tiring … not sure why… perhaps walking in the smoke filled casinos then outside in the dry heat took a lot of energy out of me. The food and shops were amazing. There were two events my daughter lined up, the museum of illusion and the omega mart which was like a haunted scavenger hunt . Those were really good ideas, I had an amazing massage . My family is staying one more night but I have to go home a day early due to class. Remember guys three more weeks of nursing school . I will share my luxury purchases with y’all as well as our new plans for the downstairs bathroom.

This year has genuinely humbled me. 😅

Being a landlord isn’t the passive income dream people make it sound like. I learned the hard way that certain states make evictions drag out for almost a year — which means zero rental income the whole time, even while you’re still covering the mortgage. Three tenants, almost 12 months of unpaid rent combined. Nobody tells you that part when you’re excited about buying your first investment property.

On a lighter note — I got back into antiquing and hit up the farmers market this week and it reminded me how much I actually love that slower, treasure-hunting kind of day. Sometimes you just need that after a year like this one. Feels great now that the boat renovation is done. We can relax on the water and just let our worries drift away.

Had so much fun on the boat guys! Was more fun than I thought, and I was shocked to see that Wen other boats right by you the residual waves really does make your boat rock a lot. There are a couple things I wish I would’ve done differently, but overall super happy with the renovation. The carpet drapery, the helm and all looks really good. We did manage to ship off the custom mattress template so that we can replace the mattress cover with something that’s custom and it fits the V birth. Until that part comes back in and we make it back out to the boat we are gonna have regularly scheduled programming which is gonna be all about lifestyle, halls, home, decor, etc. I do want to tackle a new project involving the downstairs bathroom unfortunately it involves dripping a lot of paint, which is never any fun. !!!!
