Goodbye 2025… and welcome 2026!

As we reach the last day of the year, we’d like to wish all of you a fantastic 2026, filled with clear skies, exciting projects and new discoveries.

We'll be closed until January 6th, so we’ll take advantage of this short break to… make a personal sacrifice 😄 Someone has to spend time under the sky doing #astrophotography, right?

We officially inaugurated the PL Space Center!

Yesterday we opened the doors of our new research and development center for #astronomy and #space — right here in #Pordenone, Italy.


It was an incredible day: filled with people, ideas, and passion for exploration.
We had the honor of welcoming government representatives, regional authorities, researchers, and industry leaders who shared our vision for bringing astronomy and space closer to everyone.


After the opening speeches, we cut the ribbon, and demonstrated our radio and optical systems in action — capturing artificial radio signals from satellites and natural signals from deep space.


The PL Space Center is not just a place.
It’s a symbol of what we believe in: bridging astronomy, education, and space technology to inspire the next generation of explorers.


Thank you to everyone who made this dream a reality — and to all who will help us write the next chapter of exploration, from Earth to Space.

This weekend, #pordenone (our city) will host the first edition of the NEAST Summit 2025 – North East Astronomy, Space and Technology, an event organized by PrimaLuceLab with the support of Polo Tecnologico Alto Adriatico Andrea Galvani, I.A.R.A. (Italian Amateur Radio Astronomy) and Unione Astrofili Italiani (UAI) to share the passion for #astronomy and #space exploration through science, discovery, and curiosity about the #universe!

Among the scheduled activities, don’t miss the public conference: “Are we alone in the Universe? The project searching for the answer”, by Andrea Melis, engineer at INAF – Astronomical Observatory of Cagliari, taking place on Friday, October 24 at 8:30 PM at the Civic Library of Pordenone!

We recorded this image of galaxy M101 with a Takahashi FSQ-85 #telescope equipped with our ESATTO 3” robotic focuser, ARCO 3” rotator, GIOTTO 120 flat field generator, and ALTO-1 telescope cover motor — all remotely controlled and powered by our EAGLE computer and captured using our PLAY astrophotography software.

Moments like this are why we do what we do — to empower astronomers everywhere with tools that reveal the hidden beauty of the night sky.
