Designed for the purpose of revealing God's divine truth as it comes out from the mouth of those he has sent (prophets, pastor sir etc) As you listen see from the word if they are so, let the messages build you up strong and increase you.
Redemption: Dictionary Definitions... Make amends for, obtain the release of something from captivity by paying the ransom..etc To turn in vouchers/coupons for actual value To release from blame or debt.
The four most important ones that are relevant our discussion for this year. They are very simple
1. To deliver from sin and it's consequences by sacrifice: Jesus paid the redeeming sacrifice for everyone and that's what the gospel of Jesus Christ is about. Salvation for man's soul/spirit. In this salvation, he gives us something. A lot of times, we talk of what he took away (my sin, my condemnation). Most people don't mention what he gave. The death of Jesus was only a means to an end. The death of Jesus was not the ultimate. It wasn't God's ultimate plan. His death paid. Satisfying the claims of Justice for all men. His death settled the debt. But there was much more... Christianity does not begin with the death of Jesus. It begins with the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Until a man believes in the resurrection of Jesus Christ, he cannot be saved. (Of course the lesser is Included in the greater). Through his death, he brought us Justification. This means to be acquitted or declared NOT GUILTY. When Jesus died, he died in our place. He was crucified in the place of sinners. He paid the penalty for Sin. Because He paid, you don't have to pay again. There is no such thing as Penance. No man could ever pay for his sin.
Justified doesn't suggest that He paid for you. Imagine that you were owing a debt and they are trying to pay the debt but you couldn't pay. A man comes to pay your debt for you... You paid, even though you didn't pay by yourself! Think about it...you actually paid for your sins in Jesus Christ. But Justification means to be declared Not guilty. It's something completely different from what Jesus did. The payment does not make you Justified.
In Justification you are said to be without guilt. You are discharged and acquitted. Why? Because the resurrection gave you a new life. It made you a new creature. One that never existed before. That's why you are Justified. You are Not the same man who committed the sin that was remitted. His resurrection gave you a new nature. That's what it means to be born again. Romans 5- Read the whole chapter
2. The second one is to turn in vouchers or coupons for actual value. Did you know the scriptures that talk of Jesus vicarious death and resurrection are vouchers for redemption? Did you know that those verse are vouchers/coupons? You can take those coupons and present them for actual value.
3. To release from Debt or Bondage: This I find to be very interesting. Today's few masters must release their serf's. There are nations and organizations that are holding others in bondage today and holding them with debts that are unjustified. They must let them go. If they don't let them go in 2024, it will turn to an unrest; those who have found themselves in these illegitimate debts and bondage must extricate themselves from these detrimental associations and treaties.(i am speaking to individuals and to nations... Because this year is the year of Redemption). You must extricate yourselves. You must become Bold. I speak to African and Asian nations. You must now Extricate yourselves and come out of this Bondage. It takes boldness, leadership and decisiveness. There are many of you at various levels. Don't wait for government.because sometimes, the government may not speak for you. An idea: Sue the Government for making those payments. And sue with proof that the debts are illegal. You will win for country, your organization and for yourself and your future. Wake up! There are answers. A group of you can sue that government. You can make them stop making the payments.
Sue the illegitimate claimants. Sue them at the National court. Youth Organizations, become bold. There is more than enough proof that the debts that are being claimed from Africa, Asia, Central America don't have to be paid. They have been overpaid. And it's time for redemption. Redemption is to extricate yourself fro. Something detrimental. God is saying to those holding them: let my people go. This is a year that will bring changes. You cannot fear your adversary..it will empower them. Your adversary is not God. Your adversaries are not as strong as you think. In fact, they are weak.
What a year! Make claims on what Christ gave you. It's time! A sudden change is coming.
*Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God (Philippians 1:11).*
_PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME_
*God sent us to take His presence to the peoples and nations of the world, demonstrating to them the character of the Spirit. But what’s in that presence? It’s the righteousness of God. When we bring the presence of God to an individual or a community, we’re bringing them the righteousness of God.*
_This very much aligns with the vision of Jesus. He came to set up the Kingdom of God in the earth; He came to establish God’s righteousness. Before His birth, the angel announced to Mary that His name shall be called Emmanuel—God with us (Matthew 1:23). That’s God’s presence, and Jesus was the righteousness of God unveiled in flesh._
God’s presence is His righteousness in manifestation. That’s why we preach and teach the righteousness of God; because only through His righteousness can the people experience His Person. You can’t know God with your senses; you can’t know Him until you understand His righteousness, which is revealed in His acts of love.
*It’s the reason we want the whole world to know who Jesus is. We want the whole world to experience the righteousness of God. When we talk about the love of God, the love of God actually is the demonstration of the righteousness of God.*
_Wherever the righteousness of God is in manifestation, the love of God is experienced. We’ve been made His righteousness, which means the righteousness of God is in manifestation through you in your world—in your office, in your home etc. You hold forth the fruits of God’s righteousness everywhere._
It’s the reason when you get involved in a matter, it shouldn’t be about taking sides with anyone but about establishing the righteousness of God, because that’s what we represent; that’s what we’re called to establish. Glory to God!
*PRAYER*
Dear Father, thank you for making me a conveyor of your divine presence, a dispenser of your righteousness. Everywhere I go, I exude the excellence and elegance of the Spirit. I’m the manifestation of your righteousness. I spread and speak forth your righteousness and give vent to your glory and virtue, in Jesus’ Name.
_*No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him (John 1:18).*_
The word “declared” in our opening verse originates from the Greek term “exegeomai,” signifying not just a mere declaration but the act of rehearsing or unfolding something. In essence, Jesus rehearsed divinity to us. He came to reveal God in a way we could relate with and understand.
The life of Jesus was a living testament, a vivid portrayal of the Kingdom’s principles and the divine way of living. This profound truth is why the Bible instructs us to follow in His footsteps, for He’s given us an example to emulate.
1 Peter 2:21 underscores this beautifully: _*“For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps.”*_ Jesus came to show us the Father’s love, character and will. He said in John 14:9, _*“...he that hath seen me hath seen the Father...”;*_ a claim only the One who was God in the flesh could make.
Ephesians 5:1-2 says, _*“Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us....”*_ The term “followers” translates from the Greek word “mimetes,” denoting not merely followers but imitators, those who copy another. We’re called to be imitators of God, but how can we imitate God when we haven’t seen Him?
Jesus made it possible! He came to reveal God’s nature and His love for us. God loves us; we know because we see from the Scriptures how Jesus was moved by love and compassion. Jesus in action was God at work.
Now we can manifest the Father’s love, His righteousness, mercy, compassion and grace because that’s what Jesus did when He walked the earth. We have the life of Christ in us, and His love is poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5). The Apostle Paul tells us, _*“And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma”*_ (Ephesians 5:2 NKJV).
*PRAYER*
*Dear Father, thank you for revealing your nature and your love to us through the Lord Jesus. I follow in His steps and imitate Him in my daily life, loving as He loved, walking as He walked and thinking as He thought. Your love shines through me as a testament to your character and nature in me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*
*YOU CAN PROPHESY!* (The Spirit Of God Has Been Poured Out Upon All Mankind)
*📖TO THE BIBLE Acts 2:17 TLB “‘In the last days,’ God said, ‘I will pour out my Holy Spirit upon all mankind, and your sons and daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men dream dreams.’”*
*LET’S TALK⏭* Did you notice that the first response or result of having the Spirit poured out upon all mankind was that men and women would prophesy? It shows the importance of prophecy in prayer. Until you find yourself prophesying in prayer, you haven’t utilised the power and benefits of prayer.
Prophecy is two-fold: we speak forth and we foretell. The key is being filled with the Spirit. The Bible says in Ephesians 5:18, “And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit” (KJV). The underlined expression connotes something that’s supposed to continue. The proper rendering is actually, “Be being filled with the Spirit.”
That means you should always be filled with the Spirit. If you’re that way, your prayer life will be enriched with prophecy, where you speak forth God’s Word and you foretell the future. Don’t leave your future in the hands of others; create your “aion”—course of life—with prophecy.
As a young person, how your life goes depends a lot on you. Likewise, as the Church of Jesus Christ, we must also recognise that we have a responsibility to determine what happens in our communities. That’s why our prayers must be laden with prophecies. Whenever we come together to pray, we must know we’re coming together to determine the future of our cities, our nations, and our world through our prophetic utterances. Hallelujah!
*🔊Pray:* Dear Father, I thank you for putting your Word in my heart and in my mouth, thus giving me the power to control my future. I declare that I’m moving forward by the power of the Holy Spirit, making progress with giant strides, and waxing stronger every day, in all things, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

✍️ My Notes ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
*DO YOU NEED IT?* (Your “Need” Activates Your Faith)
📖 *TO THE BIBLE* Mark 11:22-23 AMPC “And Jesus, replying, said to them, Have faith in God [constantly]. Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! And does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him.”
LET’S TALK⏭ “Why didn’t my faith work when I commanded that the sky turn red?” Nelson, a young Christian, asked, demanding answers from his Care Group leader. “I thought faith always works!”
“Yes, faith always works, but your faith is activated by your need. Did you really “need” the sky to turn red?”
“No, I didn’t; I was just trying to see if it would,” Nelson answered sheepishly, knowing his leader was right.
Someone once said, “I’ve never seen anybody move a mountain with faith; was Jesus just using symbolism or did He mean what He said in Mark 11:22-23? Can you really command a mountain to move?” Yes, Jesus meant it. But Jesus wasn’t talking about a game. He wasn’t saying that we go out in the street and say, “I’m here to show you how powerful I am”; then you start commanding mountains and buildings to move. No! The question is, why would you want to move a physical mountain? To what intent and purpose?
Our faith is always connected to our needs. If there’s no need for it, there’ll be no faith to it. So, you may find yourself trying to make something happen that won’t happen because there’s no need to activate faith in the first place. Faith is activated only when there’s a need for it. When you find yourself in a situation and you have a “need,” don’t despair; that need will activate your faith. It’s like the fellow who was healed of cancer; he didn’t know he could make it happen until he was told he had only one month to live. The news triggered his faith, and he began to declare, “I shall not die but live,” and indeed, he was healed. Hallelujah!
Never be overwhelmed with your needs; rather, let your needs connect to your faith. Let your needs excite you. Once you connect to a need, that’s your opportunity to overwhelm your need with your faith. Praise God!
🔊Speak: In Christ, I’m self-sufficient. I was born into an incorruptible, inexhaustible inheritance. My faith is the victory that overcomes the world! I’ve overcome the world and its systems and structures. My path is that of glory and excellence, victory, success, joy, health, and prosperity, which God has ordained for me. I walk in dominion. Hallelujah!
*He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not (John 1:10).*
_PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME_
*John 1:14 says, “And the Word became flesh...” (NKJV). In essence, the Word changed form and became manifest in the flesh, and that’s Jesus! Where was Jesus before He was born in Bethlehem? He was in God as God’s Word. For example, your words right now are in you until you speak them forth.*
Words are thoughts clothed with vocabulary. When you speak, you speak your thoughts. Your thoughts are clothed with language so someone else can understand. So, your thoughts reside within you until you express them in words.
When you’re thinking about something, nobody else can discern your thoughts; they remain concealed within your heart. However, when you speak, your words become tangible and can be captured in time. This is why we can record your voice and replay it later. Five years down the line, someone can hear what you said, but it was hidden in your heart until you uttered it.
Imagine if your words, once captured in time, could step out of a computer or a recorder and materialize as the very things you said. This is precisely what God did through Jesus Christ. Jesus became the embodiment of God’s will, a revelation of His divine purpose and the manifestation of His boundless love.
*If you wanted to understand what God is like, you only needed to look at Jesus. He declared, “I and my Father are one” (John 10:30). And He consistently performed the works and spoke the words that emanated from the Father. In essence, Jesus was the living expression of God’s Word.*
It’s quite common for people to be puzzled by certain aspects of Jesus’ life, such as when God spoke from heaven during His baptism. So, they say, “If Jesus was the manifestation of God, how come, when He was being baptized, God spoke from heaven?”
God’s nature and capabilities are far beyond our understanding. We can draw a parallel from modern technology: when I preach from a particular location, anywhere in the world, my voice is heard in every known country and territory on earth and in multiple languages. If that is possible in this world, then think about what God can do! His ability to speak from heaven while Jesus was on earth transcends human limitations.
*PRAYER*
Lord Jesus, you’re the God of heaven and earth; you pre-existed creation, and by you, all things exist and consist. I honour you, for you’re the embodiment of wisdom, grace and truth; the only true God! Thank you for giving me a life of victory, success, prosperity and divine health. I love you forever.
FURTHER STUDY:John 1:1-4 NKJV In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.
John 1:10-14 NKJV He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. 11 He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

A WONDERFUL GIFT!
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
Merry Christmas! Have you said that to someone today? You should! It’s a wonderful time of the year, when we get to give and receive gifts. Have you prepared gifts for your friends? If you haven’t, make sure you do.
God has a special gift for everyone. Guess what? It’s the gift of eternal life. It’s the special gift the Lord Jesus brought to us all. It’s a life that’s greater than sickness and death. It’s a life of victory and success. The moment you received the Lord Jesus, you also received eternal life.
So, share this wonderful gift with someone today by winning them to Jesus, making them a partaker of God’s gift to mankind!
SCRIPTURE READING Romans 5:17
LET'S PRAY Thank you Lord for the amazing gift of eternal life, the divine life that makes me victorious in all I do, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
*And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night (Luke 2:8).*
_PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME_
_Luke 2:8-14 provides a remarkable account of the angelic announcement to the shepherds in the fields near Bethlehem. As the shepherds were keeping watch over their flock by night, an angel of the Lord suddenly appeared before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, filling them with awe and reverential fear._
The angel reassured the shepherds, saying, "Fear not" and went ahead to deliver the good tidings of great joy that would be for all people. The angel proclaimed the birth of a Savior in the city of David, who is Christ the Lord.
*Furthermore, the angel gave the shepherds a sign to find the new-born Saviour. They would find the baby wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger. Suddenly, the heavens were filled with a multitude of angels, praising God and declaring, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men" (Luke 2:14). What an announcement!*
His goodwill toward all men hasn’t stopped since then. This is our Gospel! This is what Christmas is about! The Bible says, “To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation” (2 Corinthians 5:19).
God is looking at all nations today with goodwill. Jesus Christ was God’s love message; He was God’s love letter to the world. When Jesus came, He was the expression of the will and nature of God; He was the expression of the Father’s righteousness! He was the manifestation of God’s love.
Now, the most sublime of it all is that He made us the expression of His will and nature. 2 Corinthians 5:21 declares, *“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”* In Christ, we are made the righteousness of God. Every day of your life, you’re the unfolding of the Father's heart. In other words, you are the revelation of the Father's heart and of His will.
*PRAYER*
Dear Father, thank you for your love, grace and goodwill towards all men; we take advantage of your goodness and mercy to spread your Word of truth and thereby bring men into the glorious life, peace, blessings and righteousness in Christ, in Jesus’ Name.

Hallelujah!

*DO YOU NEED IT?*
(Your “Need” Activates Your Faith)
📖 *TO THE BIBLE* Mark 11:22-23 AMPC “And Jesus, replying, said to them, Have faith in God [constantly]. Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! And does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him.”
LET’S TALK⏭
“Why didn’t my faith work when I commanded that the sky turn red?” Nelson, a young Christian, asked, demanding answers from his Care Group leader.
Praise God!

🔊Speak:
In Christ, I’m self-sufficient. Hallelujah!

*JESUS—GOD’S WORD MANIFEST IN FLESH*
_TUESDAY, DECEMBER 26TH 2023_

*RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL*
_SUNDAY DECEMBER 24TH 2023_
*HIS GOODWILL TOWARD ALL*
*And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night (Luke 2:8).*
