These are V2 Amp and Cab captures and are my go-to amp tones for live and studio. While I love the flexibility of the DI captures the Amp/Cab captures have a realness to them that I am loving!
I’m still here! Currently on tour on the West Coast. I know it’s been a while but lots of stuff in the works currently. Videos and new ToneX Captures are on the way.
On a more personal note - Creating content and wanting to create content has been more of a struggle lately. Finding time between touring and sessions has been tough but, even more so, having the energy and inspiration has gotten harder. I’m not sure if it’s self doubt or realism but with so much great content out there from people far more talented than me it can be hard to feel like I have something to add to it all. I don’t say that to be self deprecating, it’s just an underlying element of my lack of motivation around content these days.
Most days the need to release videos hangs over my head rather than being something I can or want to pursue. That’s not all bad but it is something I have to keep in check and let go of for periods of time.
I say all this not for sympathy but maybe for some of you who are struggling with creating or playing. No matter where you are in the journey there are waves - waves of productivity, inspiration, motivation, and all the other things that come with creative pursuits- good and bad, easy and hard. Sometimes you have to push through and sometimes you have to ride it out. Remember to enjoy it, this is supposed to be fun!
