Hi, I’m Frank 👋 — welcome to Frank Can AI!

This channel is all about Artificial Intelligence. 🤖 I post long-form videos that help explain what AI is and how we can use it to our benefit. My mission is to show that you’re never too old to do this!

I also enjoy posting educational/entertaining Shorts about subjects that I fine interesting, all made with AI.

If you’re as old as dirt (like me), but still have that curiosity bug, or just looking to have AI explained without all the fast talking jargon, then this channel is your tech home!

My channel is geared to curious minds over 50, but anyone who wants AI explained simply (and calmly) is very welcome to join us, we take our time here!

👉 Subscribe and join me as I explore how AI can save us all some time, spark amazing creativity, and make life a little easier — one AI tool at a time.

Hi gang! Frank here...

Have you ever wanted to try building your own App? Something like a meal tracking App, or a personal health coach App. I've been curious to try this ever since hearing about how AI can code for you...so I gave it a go!

I was blown away! It was far simpler that I had expected. In fact, I coded my own custom App in a morning, it took less than an hour!!

I'll be posting a Short later this week with the highlights but there will be a more detailed long-form video to follow.

Here's a couple of screen grabs for you to check as a teaser!

Enjoy the long weekend!

It’s Never Too Late for AI!

A friend of mine in her sixties recently told me, “AI sounds amazing, but that’s for younger people. I wouldn’t even know where to start.”

So I sat with her at her kitchen table, opened up an AI app, and asked, “What’s a quick dinner for two using chicken and zucchini?” In seconds, it gave us three simple recipes. She laughed and said, “That’s it? I just… ask it?”

That’s it.

And that’s the point. You don’t need to be a tech wizard. You don’t need to know code. You just need curiosity. If you can type a question or talk to your phone, you can use AI.

What surprised her most wasn’t how easy it was—it was how useful it felt. She started asking it for gardening tips, a refresher on a book she’d half-forgotten, and even ideas for her church group newsletter. By the end of the afternoon, she said, *“I thought I was too old for this. Turns out, it’s made for me.”*

Here’s the truth: age isn’t a barrier. In fact, your experience is an advantage. You know what matters, you know the right questions to ask, and you can tell the difference between helpful and not-so-helpful answers.

The only real risk is assuming it’s too late and missing out. AI isn’t about “keeping up.” It’s about making your life easier, sparking creativity, and opening new doors.

So whether you’re 40, 60, or 80—the best time to start is now. Just ask AI something simple, and let it surprise you.

It's Never Too Late To Learn AI!

A lot of people think AI is just for the young or the super tech-savvy. But honestly, age has nothing to do with it. If you’ve ever learned to use a computer, a smartphone, or even just email, you’ve already proven you can adapt to new technology. AI is simply the next step—and it’s actually easier than you might think.

You don’t need to know how to code or understand complicated jargon. With AI, you just talk to it. Ask a question, give it a task, and it responds in plain language. It’s less about technical know-how and more about being curious and clear about what you want.

In fact, your life experience is a huge advantage. You know what matters, what’s useful, and how to ask the right questions. That’s all you need.

AI can save you time on everyday tasks, help you explore new hobbies, or even spark your creativity. Want to try a new recipe, write a poem, or plan a trip? AI can help with all of that—and more. It’s a great way to keep your mind active and stay connected in a digital world.

The only real risk is thinking it’s “too late” to start. It’s not. Whether you’re 40, 60, or 80, AI is for you. You don’t have to learn everything at once—just start small. Ask AI to help with something simple, and see where it takes you.

Learning never stops. AI is just another tool to make life easier, more fun, and a little more magical. You’re not too old, and it’s never too late to begin.
