The release date for the film adaptation of the popular TV drama "Honest Real Estate," starring Tomohisa Yamashita, has been set for May 15, 2026, and a trailer and teaser visual have been released. It was also revealed that 10 regular cast members from the drama (Hayato Ichihara, Dean Fujioka, Ai Mikami, Kana Kurashina, Katsunori Takahashi, Rika Izumi, Wakana Matsumoto, Mao Daichi, Shinobu Hasegawa, and Masao Kusakari) will be reprising their roles.

The film is based on the manga of the same name (manga by Akira Otani, original story by Takeshi Natsuhara, script by Mitsuhiro Mizuno, 22 volumes published) currently serialized in Shogakukan's "Big Comic," which has sold over 3.9 million copies. This socially conscious comedy depicts the struggles of real estate salesman Nagase Saichi (Yamashita), who, due to a strange turn of events, has become unable to lie, and his junior employee Tsukishita Sakura (Fukuhara Haruka), who puts the customer first, as they deal with people selling and buying homes, using only honesty and sincerity as their weapons, in the ever-changing real estate industry.The series was broadcast as a serial drama on NHK in 2022 and 2024, and special editions and spin-offs have also been produced.

In the film, Nagase faces difficult challenges swirling around the real estate industry, including overseas real estate investment fraud, contract disputes from his days as "Liar Nagase," a mysterious large-scale development plan by a former colleague who is a real estate broker, and a malicious and clever land-grabbing strategy by his arch rival company, Minerva Real Estate. The trailer shows Nagase screaming as he confronts a giant tornado for some reason, and Nagase getting slapped in the face in Texas after traveling to the US to resolve issues surrounding overseas investment fraud, and the film's locations and content have been scaled up from the TV series.

In addition, members of Tosaka Real Estate, where Nagase and Gekka work, as well as members of rival company Minerva Real Estate and important people surrounding Nagase will also be making reappearances. The film will be enhanced by the cast of former Tosaka Real Estate salesman and real estate broker Takahisa Kiriyama (Ichihara), manager of Minerva Real Estate's Tachikawa branch, Ryoma Kamiki (Dean), new employee at Minerva Real Estate, Haruka Yukino (Mikami), assistant manager of Minerva Real Estate, Ryoko Hanazawa (Kurashina), president of Minerva Real Estate, Masato Karasu (Takahashi), bank employee Enomoto Minami (Izumi) and Nagase's girlfriend, Enomoto's senior colleague Maya Aihara (Matsumoto), Madame (Daichi), a large landowner, sales manager at Tosaka Real Estate, Masumi Ogawa (Hasegawa), and president of Tosaka Real Estate, Juro Tosaka (Kusakari).

The staff from the drama series will also be reuniting, with director Kawamura Taisuke, scriptwriter Nemoto Nonji, and music by Sahashi Toshihiko. Distribution will be handled by Sony Pictures Entertainment.

　原作は、累計発行部数390万部を突破した小学館「ビッグコミック」で連載中の同名漫画（漫画：大谷アキラ・原案：夏原武・脚本：水野光博／既刊22巻）。ひょんなことから“嘘がつけなくなってしまった”不動産営業マン・永瀬財地（山下）と、後輩社員で“カスタマーファースト命”の月下咲良（福原遥）が、家を売る人、そして求める人を相手に、正直さと誠実さだけを武器に海千山千の不動産業界で悪戦苦闘する姿を描いた社会派コメディーで、2022年と2024年にNHKで連続ドラマが放送されたほか、スペシャル版やスピンオフなども制作されている。

映画では、永瀬が海外の不動産投資詐欺、「ライアー永瀬」時代の過去の契約トラブル、元同僚である不動産ブローカーによる謎の大規模開発計画、因縁のライバル会社・ミネルヴァ不動産が仕掛ける悪質で巧妙な地上げ戦略など、不動産業界に渦巻く難題に立ち向かう。特報では、永瀬がなぜか巨大竜巻と対峙し叫ぶ姿や、海外投資詐欺をめぐるトラブル解決のため渡米した永瀬が、テキサス州でビンタを食らうなど、ドラマ版からロケーションも内容もスケールアップしている。
　さらに、永瀬と月下が所属する登坂不動産の面々や、ライバル会社ミネルヴァ不動産のメンバー、永瀬を取り巻く重要人物も再登場。元登坂不動産営業マンで不動産ブローカー・桐山貴久（市原）、ミネルヴァ不動産・立川店店長の神木涼真（ディーン）、ミネルヴァ不動産の新入社員・雪野遥香（見上）、ミネルヴァ不動産・副店長の花澤涼子（倉科）、ミネルヴァ不動産の社長・鵤聖人（高橋）、永瀬の恋人である銀行員・榎本美波（泉）、榎本の先輩・愛原麻耶（松本）、大地主・マダム（大地）登坂不動産の営業部長・大河真澄（長谷川）、登坂不動産の社長・登坂寿郎（草刈）が劇場版に華を添える。

監督は川村泰祐、脚本は根本ノンジ、音楽は佐橋俊彦とドラマシリーズのスタッフ陣も再集結。配給は、ソニー・ピクチャーズ エンタテインメントが担当する。
