So great to meet you!
I'm Lauren, balayage artist, national educator, entrepreneur, and new mom! I feel extremely blessed for the success I have had in my career as a 6 figure independent hair stylist and that is the main reason for this channel. I want to help others establish solid salon marketing principles so they do not have to fear independence and they can be confident enough to grow!

It is my goal to use this platform to connect with real people so please don't hesitate to ask questions or say hello! I respond to everyone as soon as possible because I am so grateful for the people who look to me for advice and inspiration!

Thank you for checking out my channel and if you find value in my content, please subscribe and share with your friends!

When I teach how to create looks like this, I emphasize well thought out placement and lift to get 90% of the desired tone.

Color melting and toning is used to add detailed dimension and slight tonal changes to enhance or refine the tone that I get after lifting.

So toning is for enhancing not correcting.

Darker base colors in my opinion need more color melting and toning than lighter base colors. This is because the darker base colors need more transition levels and tones to produce a smooth gradient.

Even if you lift perfectly and did a perfect placement, the darker base color needs to transition smoothly into the lighter for a natural look. Because this is how the sun lightens hair naturally.

When you nail the placement and in-foil techniques, toning is much less stressful. You are no longer working so hard to fix unwanted lines and tones but instead you are adding precise details that make your work look more expensive.

I created an online program with personal guidance built in to help Stylsits of all levels master looks like this effortlessly everytime!
