Rogue Trader 1.5 is bringing an exp squish with the aim to bring more challenging encounters. With that in mind. The 1.5 tab will be the first set of builds that are hard min-max and tailored to each origin and companion rather than general skeletons builds.
A little message from Starrok the community manager: "Okay, if it's so serious, here's a glimpse!
The patch is coming by the end of October if all goes well. There's a lot of new stuff such as:
- New NPC portraits, for example a portrait of Malice. Try to guess the others!
- ~25 new talents, mostly related to exotic weapons
- A full redesign of Commissar, Navy Officer, Ministorum Priest (+Argenta) and Astra Militarum Commander origins to make them more fun and powerful
- New xeno and space marine items, such as a shiny new armor for Ulfar
- Companion starting builds overhaul
- Experience squish to counter the power inflation (levelling will be a bit slower)
- Balance adjustments to some of the most crazy "I win" buttons (For example, Executioner's ult is now a powerful single target attack, instead of "everything around me melts")
- Tone of voice corrections and a lot of new reactivity for Lex Imperialis content
- Hundreds of bugfixes, with a special pass on epilogue consistency
This isn't all, you're in for some more cool surprises, but I won't spoil too much yet :)"
