📄 Use resumes to pitch clients

I don’t rely on resumes anymore. I send proof — analytics, past collaborations, content samples, testimonials, and results. Clients care more about what you can actually deliver.

💸 Base my rates on “standard pricing”

I stopped undercharging just because other creators do. I price based on the value I bring, the trust of my audience, and what I can actually deliver for a client.

🤝 Wait for clients to send contracts first

If they don’t have a contract, I make one. Protecting your work, payment terms, usage rights, and deliverables is part of treating content creation like a real business.

💬 Shy away from negotiating

I don’t say yes just because I’m offered a penny. Negotiation is normal in business, and knowing your value matters.

🎓 Wait until I’ve fully mastered a skill before starting

You can learn while building. I stopped thinking I needed to know everything first before offering services, creating content, or starting online.

🤖 Avoid using available tools and resources

AI tools, automation, templates, and online platforms exist for a reason. I now use tools strategically to save time and scale faster instead of doing everything manually.

🆓 Use only free tools forever

Free tools are great for starting. But sometimes paying for the right tool saves hours of work and helps you earn more long term.

📱 Use ALL the trending apps and tools

I don’t sign up for every hyped digital bank, broker, or platform anymore. I use the ones I personally trust, understand, and actually fit my financial goals.

💼 Believe only “traditional jobs” are stable

The internet changed everything. Skills, content, and personal branding can create opportunities globally — even from your phone or laptop.

⚡ Accept every offer

Not every deal is worth it. I now say no to clients that don’t align with my audience, values, or rates.

🎯 Chase too many business ideas at once

Trying everything slowed me down. I now focus on a few scalable income streams and improve them consistently instead of constantly starting over.
