TRUTH HAS A SOUND …

Nations collapse when law and order are either altogether desecrated, or applied discriminately. [Hint to struggling nations]

The St. Paul, MN church incident on yesterday, January 18, 2026, is yet another defining moment in America’s two hundred and forty-nine years experiment at Self-Governance. I hope Christian church leaders and believers across the nation are paying close attention.

Explicitly defined protected spaces in our nation’s documents include houses of worship. This would be a good time for ALL freedom-loving people, especially worshippers, to make their position known and ensure the ‘red lines’ are clear enough for all to see, even if that is merely a silent nod.

As Scripture clearly shows, the enemy of God intends to take His place [Isaiah 14:14]. With him there are no middle grounds, demilitarized zones, ‘sanctuary cities’, safe spaces, or no-go areas. He wants TOTAL CONTROL. With him, it is ALWAYS a BOW OR BURN situation … EXCEPT the true Church of Jesus Christ rises and RESISTS him.

Truth has a SOUND. So do Righteousness, Justice, and Mercy [Psalm 89:14-15]. That sound must be loud and clear, even where the opposition pretends it doesn’t care. CHURCH, your deafening silence at this crucial time, if unchecked, will come back to haunt you. You are called to be THE PILLAR AND GROUND OF TRUTH.

Notice that in reality, the application of all four divine concepts mentioned above require Knowledge, Understanding, Wisdom, Courage, and Love, among others - all of which are FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT. It becomes an argument in futility when individuals somehow quote (misquote actually) portions of the Bible while breaking other significant portions.

Not too long ago, groups of people (hundreds in all) were charged and penalized for “trespassing” safe-spaces at different times and locations. Some of them were charged under the FACE Act of 1994. Bear in mind some of the said ‘safe spaces’ are not explicitly mentioned in our nation’s documents. You would have to perform “legal magic” to make them fit, under the right conditions, of course. Also, some of the penalized individuals were arguably within reasonable distances of the said ‘safe spaces’. But that didn’t hold in the courts of law, in this same United States.

Fast forward to Sunday January 18, 2026, at a local house of worship in St. Paul, MN. The local pastor may have spent a reasonable amount of time, preparing a powerful message he hoped to deliver to his parishioners. He had barely announced the topic of his message, when a group of so-called protesters, some of whom had pretended to be worshipers, suddenly began yelling disruptive chants that certainly had nothing to do with the theme of the message or church worship. And this, somehow had something to do with the chosen profession of one of the church leaders - a profession he had held and executed for years. I wonder what my Left-leaning colleagues think about this. That your church services could be disrupted because of the profession of a church member or where they work at.

Coincidentally, a nationally known, tv personality, from out of town, happened to be in the middle of the protest at this local church in St. Paul, equipped with his recording gear, and surrounded by what seemed like personal body guard(s). He called it Journalism, and seemed to suggest Jesus would love and be on the side of the “disrupters” - their words. Church ministers, do you agree with Don Lemon? If no, here is your chance to make your position known.

The shooting death of Renee Good by an ICE agent is an UNFORTUNATE incident, should not have happened, and could have been mitigated on many levels had LOCAL POLITICIANS carried out their sworn duties, followed the rules in the books, and had not ENCOURAGED citizens to put themselves in harm’s way. But a disruptive protest at a local church is NOT in any way a remedy to the failures of local politicians and politics. What gives?

Beyond all that meets the natural eyes, we must once again remind all sides in this melodramatic script called Life, THERE IS A SPIRITUAL REALITY AT PLAY. The good news is we know what makes up the good side. It is the delicate balance between Righteousness, Justice, Mercy, and Truth. Unfortunately, the other side HAS NO BOUNDARIES, except the ones enforced by the good side. Let that sink in.
