On 15 August 1947, we gained our political sovereignty, our identity, and the freedom to chart our own destiny. Independence gave us the steering wheel; it didn't promise an immediate, perfect ride.

Of course, we still face real challenges. We have hurdles in education, infrastructure, and equality that need urgent attention. But these systemic issues cannot be fixed overnight. Real growth takes time, and as a nation, we will solve them gradually, step by step.

Instead of cynical questioning, let's celebrate how far we have come and commit to working on the gaps that remain. Progress is a journey, and we are on it together.
