📘 GST Registration Process for Proprietorship Firms in India 🇮🇳

Running your business as a sole proprietor?
Here’s a quick and easy guide to get your GST Registration done smoothly 👇

✅ Step 1: Prepare Documents

PAN card of proprietor

Aadhaar card

Business address proof (rent agreement / utility bill)

Passport-size photo

Bank account details

🏠 Note:
If the property is not in your name —
👉 Use a Rent Agreement + NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the property owner as address proof.

✅ Step 2: Apply Online
👉 Visit: www.gst.gov.in/

Fill Part A with PAN, mobile, and email

Verify via OTP to get your TRN (Temporary Reference Number)

Complete Part B, upload all documents, and submit

✅ Step 3: Verification

GST officer may ask for clarification or site verification

Once approved, you’ll get your GSTIN & Registration Certificate 🎉

💡 Pro Tip:
If you deal in exports or foreign clients, file an LUT (Letter of Undertaking) to avoid paying IGST on your outward supplies.

Annual turnover exceeds ₹40 lakh (₹20 lakh for services)

ITR season is round the corner and most of the employees must have received form 16 from their respective employers.



Now the question that arises in the minds of many employees is that whether they need to file ITR or not?

Few people have this misconception that if there income is not taxable they do not need to file ITR.

They also believe that if there income is below the limit of 500000 which has increased to 700000 in the new regime, they are not supposed to file their returns.



However the reality is that 500000 is the limit for Rebate under Section 87 A which is increased to 700000.

Apart from this,there are various reasons for filing ITR out of which one of the reason is that if your TOTAL INCOME exceeds the basic exemption limit i.e
250000 as per old regime and 300000 as per new regime, you are supposed to file ITRs to avoid any consequences of Non filing.

Please note that concealment of Income or non filing of ITRs can cause you serious consequences, also late filing of ITRs will lead you to pay late filing fee so to avoid all this, file your ITRs within due time ,i.e. before 31.07.2024.

Today's thoughts are about the sync between personal and professional life.

No matter how good you are at your profession but if your personal life is disturbed it is going to impact your professional life as well.

Since now Women are actively participating everywhere, I have seen a thinking developing in Indian Conservative families saying," JYADA PADHI LIKHI LADKI HAI NA,GHAR KA KAAM KYU KREGI?"
Also they start judging a girl taunting them," PAISE KAMATI HAI ,ISLIYE BADHO KI IZZAT NHI KARNA JANTI HOGI".

To all the people with this Narrow Mindset, I just want say," Being educated never means being disrespectful ".
However expecting only the daughters and daughter in laws to help in household chores and manage all the house is truly not justified .

Even if there are househelps in the house ,people expect only the females to direct or look after them(even if they are working out).

When it comes to managing children, I have seen only the mothers compromising with their career..

I might sound feminist to some people, But do you actually think that this Mindset is justified?

Why is a woman's career only took as a option or her choice?

We can't change the whole society at once, however if each of us try at individual level, it can really impact and improve our personal relationships as well.

Do you believe in destiny ?

Living a very simple and sorted life,I never had a thought about Destiny.But when I entered the phase of my life where I got stuck in a loop of attempts duringmy CA Intermediate journey,in which I could neither figure out how to get of out it,nor I was ready to quit,I started believing that "We get everything only when the perfect timing of our destiny arrives".Sadly,we don't know that when that right time is going to arrive and so we need to continuously put our efforts in it.
There comes a time when we start feeling exhausted of putting our best efforts and still are not able to achieve our desired result and this is when the "Power of Positive thinking and letting things go"comes into picture.
We can't limit our happiness on the basis of our desired achievements,what has to happen will happen but we need to give our best and remain happy.
And gradually when I started understanding the importance of this,the complaints which I had from my journey suddenly started feeling as "lessons"
