1v1 culture is massive right now, and it’s something I’ve poured a lot of time and energy into. But filming today’s College GameDay video honestly reminded me how special every part of basketball is.
Watching high-level 5v5 — the flow, the spacing, the reads… man it just hit me how beautiful the game is in a different way. I’ve always had love for all of it: 1s, 3s, 5s. They each bring something unique, and today was one of those moments that made me step back and appreciate the full picture.
January 1st is coming… and I can’t wait to share what’s next
I wanna clear something up real quick because I’ve seen a few comments and I understand the confusion.
FRIGMAS has always been about daily uploads leading up to Christmas, not strictly daily videos inside the Christmas-themed gym. The first 17–18 episodes were filmed in the holiday setup because that was part of the vision, but I also wanted to switch things up the last week instead of repeating the same exact format. It’s actually never always been daily in the gym. We always end with changing it.
That said, I take accountability if the promo made it feel like every episode would be in the Christmas gym. That’s on me, and I appreciate you guys holding me to a high standard.
There’s also a LOT going on behind the scenes right now with life, family, business, TNC, and this MASSIVE January 1st announcement… We actually only had a set window to film everything. Even with that, the commitment has stayed the same: daily videos through December 25th.
Based on your feedback, if we decide to continue FRIGMAS in the future, we may look at doing all 25 days in the themed gym but this year was about delivering consistency and variety.
Appreciate everyone who’s been rocking with FRIGMAS, giving honest feedback, and supporting the grind. We’re still locked in. Daily uploads aren’t changing. 🎄
