🚐🏔️ I WANT YOUR ADVICE for Montana! Christine and I are hitting the road in exactly one month for our first VAN LIFE trip out West.
We’ll be traveling to Montana, exploring new places, and hopefully finding a lot of trout in awesome places!
This is our first time traveling out west and our first time living out of a van, so we want to learn from those of you who have done it.
What’s the one thing you wish someone told you before your first western adventure?

I lost 2 really nice fish this week because my tippet kept breaking!! 😡
What's weird... I've ALWAYS trusted Rio Fluoroflex Strong tippet and never had issues before. But this time? Knots were breaking just pulling them tight and it was so maddening! Now I'm wondering... bad spool? too old (2 years)? or something else? What do you think?
