Well, my friends, the time has come. After 6 years, I’ve decided to call it a day with Repose Records.

It’s been an amazing ride, putting out music I love, working with incredible artists, and connecting with so many of you along the way.

Honestly, I’ve done everything I set out to do with the label and after 89 releases I look back proudly at a solid back catalogue.

Since I started the label in 2019 production costs and shipping costs have effectively doubled and more and more countries have introduced outrageous import charges for even the smallest of orders thus making it harder and harder to stay afloat.

A huge and massive THANK YOU to all the mad-head supporters over the years who have aligned with my vision of releasing such unorthodox, underground music. It’s comforting to know I’m not the only weirdo out there that likes this stuff! I couldn’t have done it without you.

‘TO THE FURNACE’ is the second single taken from the brand new SPIDER GOD album, 'Possess the Devil', out 15th November on Repose Records.

Leaning heavily into its 00s metalcore influences while retaining the ferocity and speed of black metal, ‘TO THE FURNACE’ tells the story of Keith Hall, who admitted to killing his wife Patricia in 1992 but was never convicted. This is probably our heaviest song to date, ramping up the intensity with vocal changes, time signature shifts and breakdowns worthy of Underoath or The Bled.
