As a Khmer Rouge Genocide survivor, I've had suffered a great deal of diaspora experiences. Moving from two countries to seek asylum never easy. Five years living in the Refugee's in Thailand as young woman, I've participated in homemaking skills: cooking, sewing, crochet, knitting and literacy programs. Now living and cooking in Las Vegas, I emphasized and embraced on original Asian foods: Such as Thai, & Cambodian Laos, Vietnamese, cuisines. I also enjoy visiting different restaurants, samplings and food tastings at various new & older establishments in Las Vegas & Worldwide. In addition, Crochet of many different styles & patterns clothings, scarfs, beanie, headbands, and blankets. Last but not least, I traveled to see the world and learned about their foods, their lives, cultural practices to appreciate the differences, similarity and cultural norms.
