Hello everyone! My name is Michael Dennis Starbuck, and I usually post weather videos, travel videos, and vlogs on here. I posted political videos for a while on here, but I don't do that anymore. I try and keep it positive on this channel as much as possible. All of my videos are usually recorded by phone or tablet, so that's why my videos don't always turn out the greatest. A lot of times, I don't just make videos (the traveling videos and vlogs) for views, I make them for memories. That's another good reason I keep this channel positive. My life doesn't evolve around YouTube, I just upload and post videos just for fun in my downtime.

October 2025 recap! There were definitely a lot of things I did this month, such as a homecoming football game at my little sister's high school, going on a motorcycle trip to the Mackinac Bridge, and multiple other things. Definitely won't forget about this month anytime soon.

I hate what social media has turned people into. I remember the good ol' days when people could have a difference of opinion, religion, or politics, yet still sit at the same table or gathering and break bread with each other. I hate how social media has turned everybody into one side or the other, and if you don't fit on this side, you're the enemy. I really wish we could go back to the days where we all loved each other, accepted each other for our differences, and got along with each other. I really hate this divided we fall mentality that so many have nowadays.

3 years ago today, I lost my grandma Starr to stomach cancer.
Word had got to me about a week or so before her passing that she was about to go into chemo and that she had been dealing with cancer. I had no idea that she even had stomach cancer prior to that. From what I understand, she didn't go telling a bunch of people about it because she did not want people to worry about it, which I can totally understand. But within the last few months of her life on Earth, I know she had been dealing with quite a few health concerns with a few things, but for most part, the doctors were able to get things figured out and they thought that they had the situation under control. From what I understand, she was supposed to go into chemo long before they ended up getting her in for it, but I guess they were having some serious problems with health insurance as they were not very cooperative on a lot of things and they kept screwing around, causing it to be too late by the time they could perform chemo on my grandma.
When word got to me that she was about to go into chemo, I knew she didn't look like she was in the best health when she was about to go in, but I still had pretty high hopes that she would pull through and do just fine. I didn't want to give up my faith about that because I was pretty certain that it was not too late. When I had saw her quite a few times before her passing, I knew she had looked like she had changed a little bit, but I didn't think that they were negative changes. I know years prior to her passing, she had talked about how she wanted to lose some weight and get into better shape and make better life choices. So when I had saw her within the last year of her being alive, I thought that she was on a weight loss journey and was losing weight in a good way. Unfortunately, that ended up not being the case. There for a while, there were times where she wouldn't eat much, and there was a few other things going on with her prior to that way.
The morning I woke up on the day that she had passed, I did chime in online to see how she was doing as I thought that doctors were about to do more with her and that something would change and maybe she would have gotten better. Unfortunately, that did not happen. Later on at night time when I got home from work, word got to me that she ended up not making it. She had unfortunately passed away. Right after I had received that call, my life felt like it was falling to pieces super quick. I was extremely devastated, I didn't know what to think, all I can think about is how I couldn't see this coming and how I couldn't wake myself up to see what the reality of the situation was before it was too late.
I know that there is a lot of people out there that would probably feel the same way if they were in the same situation. And I do know a lot of people that have been in pretty similar situations like that. I never thought that I would have ever been dealing with a situation like that, but it unfortunately did happen. Still to this day, I wish that there was more that I could have done, such as coming over more often to see you when I have the chance. And if I'd have known that your time was about to be up, I would have dropped everything that I could and made time to come and see you as much as I could.
While you are not my biological grandmother, I still loved you like you were my real grandmother. You always had a smile on my face when my brothers and I would come over to your place to hang out. No matter how much stress and frustration that you went through in your life, you always had a smile on your face when it came to your kids, stepkids, and grandkids. You never had anything negative to say about anybody, you always kept it positive when we came around. For that, I will never forget about.
I know when I was growing up, we didn't always see each other that much because you and my grandpa were pretty busy people. You had a job of taking care of people at a hospital. My grandpa was pretty busy with working at his job as well. I know we hardly ever came around and was able to see each other much, but I will never forget about the times that we had together.
My favorite memory of you and I that I think of to this day was back in 2017 after I had just turned 19 years old. I had to run with my stepmom over to Niles to go do some things, and word got to me that my grandpa needed help with a few things while I was in the area. So I called my grandpa and told him I was in the area and I would give him a hand with a few things. He was borrowing your car and needed to come and pick up his truck from your job in South bend. You were having a pretty bad day that day because things were not going right for you and I remember my grandpa saying that you were not in the best mood. So when we showed up to your job, I talked to my grandpa and told him to just go ahead and hand me the keys to the car and I'll walk inside and I'll get the keys from my grandma. I had to go to the front desk because you were in the middle of something, so I waited for about a good 10 minutes or so before you came down and walked into the main lobby, you looked like you weren't in the best mood, but when you realized I was right there, your mood changed instantly and you were extremely happy to see me and that you said that it was a blessing that I showed up. You had no idea that I was in the area, which is why I told my grandpa that I would go in and surprise her. Obviously, there are multiple other memories that I think of when it comes to her, but that is the one memory that I think of the most that makes me happy, but also brings me to tears, that I will never forget about.
I love you Grandma, and I absolutely miss you. I wish you were still here and I wish we could have done more with each other when you were still around, but I will never forget about you and I will always remember the good times we had when you were still around. Rip Grandma Starr.

Definitely have a few videos coming up real soon. But the snowmobile races I watched today at driftbusters in Gobles were pretty good. I'll definitely have videos of that as well coming soon. It was cold, but fun to see.

August 2025 recap! There was definitely quite a few things that went on for my month of August, suchmas going to two different family gatherings, visiting Chicago, recording some storms (mostly weak storms), my brother coming back from Arizona, watching my little sister's first freshman year sideline cheer of the season, and many other things. While this month unfortunately came with a lot of frustration because some of my plans got screwed up because of work, there were definitely some good times this month to remember.

June 2025 recap! Jumping back into the recaps from each month in 2025. Unfortunately because I was super busy with work, wasn't able to do much vlogging, and ended up canceling on it, I didn't take much for photos. However, here's a few photos I took, such as a train going by, me following a bunch of people on horses on RDR2, making fried zucchini, ribs, and a few other things for Father's day, and watching an unusual sky at night time. So there were some good memories made, just sucks I was super busy this month and couldn't do much.
