🚨 VIDEO EDITING TUTORIAL🚨 ‪@CaseyFaris‬ edited my last video for me to show me how to speed up my workflow in DaVinci Resolve - and now you can see how he did it!

I do all my stuff DIY (minus the edit on A Thousand Miles obvs) so this video from Casey is gonna make my life immensely easy going forward. I learned a TON seeing his process with my own footage, so I hope my fellow DIY YouTubers find something valuable in here too 💜

Hey homies,
It's been a while since I plopped an update in the feed. While I was working on last month's cover, I had a gnarly panic attack that landed me in the hospital. I won't go too deep into the details, but I'm on different meds now (after quitting my old meds and raw-dogging my depression for the past several years) and so far, so good!

I feel a sense of purpose, direction, and motivation I haven't felt since 2021, 2022 ish. Ideas feel like they're flowing freely for the first time in years, and I'm able to commit to longer and more productive days in the studio. I'm hopeful that means I can become more active on here again, since this is both my job and my passion. I understand that I need to be kind to myself and work at my own pace, especially since I value quality over quantity. But I'd still like "my own pace" to be more than one song a month, y'know?

Music, and especially YouTube covers, are my favourite thing in the world. Ever since I heard Goldfinger's 99 Red Balloons cover, I've been obsessed with stylistic re-imaginings. Minority 905, SkaTune Network, Alex Melton, Jonathan Young, Anthony Vincent, and so many others inspired me to pursue this is a career in the first place and continue to inspire me today!

I'm eternally grateful to them, and to everybody who's supported me here. Either directly with SuperChats/Patreon/Twitch subs, or even lending me a few minutes of your time to listen to what I've made. You could be doing anything in the world, and it means a lot to me that you take the time to check out my stuff. I'm excited to keep raising the bar for myself in showing you the silly ideas that pop into my head.
