Lisbon Airport Spotting

A TAP Air Portugal Airbus A330neo, registered as CS-TUG, operating flight TP89 between Humberto Delgado Airport and São Paulo Guarulhos Airport, requested a return to Lisbon.

The aircraft landed normally and safely in Lisbon approximately two hours after takeoff and was escorted by emergency vehicles, as is standard procedure in such situations.

The Embraer KC-390 is a versatile military transport aircraft, capable of undertaking personnel and cargo transport missions with considerable intercontinental range. It can also be deployed for aerial refuelling, medical transport, search and rescue, and humanitarian support, demonstrating high effectiveness and operational flexibility.

It’s worth recalling that in 2019, the Portuguese State acquired five KC-390 aircraft and a simulator. Earlier this year, an option to purchase a sixth unit was exercised, with aircraft deliveries scheduled at a rate of one per year.

Airbus A321neo Transavia PH-YHD painted in the Retro Holland livery (airline’s 60th anniversary celebration) at Madeira Cristiano Ronaldo International Airport (FNC/LPMA).

This special “Retro Holland” livery is a tribute to Transavia’s rich history, inspired by the airline’s original branding from 1966. Designed by Dutch artist Thijs Postma, it features the iconic green color and the distinct large, black “T” on the fuselage and tail.
