New cover every week.

The Raga Projekt

Ishq isn't a love song.
It's about a mystic running out of words.

Two years ago, three Kashmiri kids — Faheem Abdullah, Rauhan Malik, Amir Ameer — dropped this on Faheem's debut album Lost;Found. We were already listening.

300M+ streams. 3B views. Spotify India #5 in 2025. Then Bollywood called Faheem for Saiyaara (#3). Our channel's first cover was Saiyaara — now we're going back to where it started.

What no one decodes about Ishq: at 2:22, the lover stops writing words. They give up sophistication. They just chant in raw Kashmiri folk — "Boazu nundebaaney, dilbar myaaney" — Listen, beautiful one.

The maker becomes the listener. This is fana — ego death into the beloved. The deepest mystical state in Sufism.

What if SOAD covered a Kashmiri Sufi devotional? We did.
Armenian Caucasus × Kashmiri Himalaya. Sister mountains.

Our deepest dive yet. Six iterations of the brief. Upgraded pipeline. We hope we did this song right.

Cover #17. Dropping soon. — राग

We don't make covers. We make reinterpretations. The raag hiding inside the song. The taal flipped on its head. The pakad turned into the riff.

The Raga Projekt

Welcome to The Raga Projeckt.

This isn't a covers channel.

This is where Aadat meets Coldplay.
Where Kun Faya Kun finds its 3 AM version.
Where a Rajasthani folk melody gets an 808 underneath it and somehow makes you cry harder, not less.

Every song that lands here gets one promise - we will not play it safe.

We'll dig until we find the hidden raag the original composer didn't even know was in there, and we'll let it breathe inside a body
it's never lived in before.

Sometimes that's stripped to one acoustic guitar and a single candle.

Sometimes it's an arena-ready wall of sound that hits like a Coke Studio session
run through Flume's brain.

Always, the goal is the same - to make you hear a song you've known for years
for the first time, again.

Hindustani soul.
Global body.
No karaoke.
No safe choices.

This community tab is where the यात्रा happens with you, not at you.

So tell me -

→ Which song do you want reborn?

→ Which lyric has been living rent-free in your head,
begging for a new arrangement?

→ Whose voice should I summon next -
a young Lata,
a smoky Kishore,
a Coke-Studio-era Atif,
a Rahman-choir wall?

Drop it below.

The next cover might come straight from your comment.

Stay weird.
Stay soulful.

The Raga Projekt

We don't make covers. We make reinterpretations.

Every Hindi song has a hidden raag the original composer didn't hear. That's what we hunt for.

Eight slides on the process — mode, meter, motif, the bold call.

If a cover doesn't make you go "what the f*** did I just listen to?" — it doesn't ship.

Tell us what to reinterpret next ↓
