The Foundation of Our Faith
Devotional
Genesis 1-11 is not just a collection of ancient stories; it is the bedrock of our faith. These chapters reveal who God is and set the stage for His redemptive work throughout history. From the creation of the world to the fall of man, and from the flood to the Tower of Babel, we see a unified narrative that points to God's character and His promises. One of the most fascinating aspects of these chapters is the genealogies. They show us the direct line of testimony about God's promises, starting from Adam and extending to Abraham. Adam was still alive when Noah's father, Lamech, was born. This means that the story of Eden and God's promise in Genesis 3:14-15 about the conflict between the seed of the woman and the serpent was passed down firsthand. As we read these chapters, let's visualize them as one unified account. These are not just Sunday school stories; they are our story, a grand narrative that we are a part of.

What are you wearingโ€ฆ and why does it matter?

From fig leaves in Eden to white robes in Revelation, the Bible is filled with stories of people dressing to cover shame, reflect identity, and enter Godโ€™s presence.

๐Ÿ‘• What if your clothing tells a deeper story?

๐Ÿงฅ What if your spiritual wardrobe is shaping how you live, love, and worship?

This Sunday we explore Genesis 3:21, where God becomes the first tailorโ€”and we uncover what it means to be clothed in Christ.
