A bad root, if left unchecked, grows into a forest within us shaping our thoughts, emotions, and choices. What starts small can overtake the soul if not surrendered to God’s healing. When God’s fire comes, it not only purifies but also shakes everything unstable. This fire reveals what is genuine and consumes what is false. The shaking represents God’s process of removing anything that cannot stand in His presence: fear, pride, hidden sin, and all that is not rooted in Him. Hebrews 12:26-29 reminds us that God’s voice once shook the earth and will shake again, so that only what is unshakeable for His Kingdom remains.
Therefore, the shaking associated with God’s fire is meant to realign us, stripping away what is temporary and refining us until our foundation is firmly established in Christ, and we are doing God's Will. #ToGodBeTheGlory #opportunitiestoovercome #faith #thetest #shakeFathershake #pray #letGodshakeandwepray

“Our God is a consuming fire” (Hebrews 12:29). That truth is just as absolute today as it was in the Bible. God’s fire still purifies, refines, and empowers His people. From Jeremiah declaring God’s word was in his heart as a burning fire in his bones (Jeremiah 20:9), to the “tongues like as of fire” at Pentecost (Acts 2:3), the same Spirit fire is alive now.
