So, I have seen Luigikid's video regarding the circumstances around CorpseSyndrome aka Jessica (video for me came out of nowhere, like one day it showed up randomly on my FYP), like how she took someone's life by lighting him (and the house) on fire out of an argument and such. My heart goes out the ones that were unfortunate to witness and go through all that.

But wanna know what this now also means? I probably have to now permanently cancel my many MTMB related ideas, including a remake of the Plastic meme I made back in 2020 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tETO9...), and my Super Mario ocs in this game's artstyle (or I guess more like Corpse's artstyle), I really looked forward to doing those.

But with CorpseSydrome's name & reputation being pretty being much at rock bottom in the span of seconds as a result of what she did, It's literally now impossible for me to make the MTMB related works and post them out there without getting backlash from people who think I by doing this "supports her actions", when in reality, I made these for fun (like everyone else), effectively dropping my reputation to rock bottom.

I'm not at all here to say THAT's more serious than the circumstances regarding CorpseSyndrome (the latter is obviously the more serious topic), nor to make everyone, myself included, somber, especially since I just had a happy birthday. But this is just another instance of me 'having an idea for fan work for a certain media I want to execute, but can't now due to the kind of person the creator of said media is', I just detest having to forcefully throw the ideas I hyped myself with for a long time all out the window all because the creator's actions and all this becoming a breeding ground for people to bombard me with hate comments about me supposedly "supporting" the creator's terrible actions all because I posted a piece of fanart or an animation of the media that he/she/they created, cause there's just unfortunately way too many people that jump to conclusions rather than taking the time to look/read the full picture.

With all things considered, again, my heart goes out to the victims of this terrible incident. I wish to go back in time to the good days and live there forever... #vent #mtmb #mariothemusicbox

Ever since his & Douglas’ permanent departure from the factory back in Scotland, they almost never had the chance to see each other for a very long time. So all Duncan could do (but will probably never admit it to the others), is pray that maybe one day, is the day they see each other’s company again, whether it’s Christmas or Awdry Extravaganza 🙏

By the way, the picture Duncan is holding (and keeping mostly away from everyone in his pocket), it’s the last ever photo taken with him, Douglas & one of the old managers before the rude & cruel managers took in (I headcanon that the first years Duncan (and Douglas) worked at the factory, the first managers there were the total opposite of the cruel managers that came in later (they’d made sure everyone was safe, lend a helping hand if needed, etc.), when those nice managers retired.
