When one has lived a long life, been graced with a rich and storied career, one finds oneself awash in offers of perhaps well intended yet at the end of the day rather frivolous awards, from Grammys, to Academy statuettes, and the National Book Award. My name is attached to "chairs" at Universities. Today, January 20, 2025 I have come in person to accept the singular honor given by my esteemed teacher, Professor of Advanced ASMR Studies, Julian Adelman. Perhaps our work will be one tiny hand grenade in the great resistance against that other figure anointed on that same January day, Donald Trump, who cannot bear any stillness in his mind. Our work might very well cause seizure or stroke in this type of individual. My eyes well up with tears of joy as I tell all my friends, and students, and boyfriend/students, that I have been chosen, I am designated FOUNDING MEMBER of PRISMATIC TINGLES.
