Anyways, I kinda wanna make a film that’s really dark yet still has the body horror elements, so I present to you: ‘Electrovox’
Plot: Set in Carcer City 1986, a film maker enters the market of illegal films to get his big break and intercepts a broadcast from another country only for the films to warp reality and mutate organic human life.
Basically I wanted to try and recreate John Carpenter’s legendary movie - The Thing (it’s one of my favorite movies)
Plot: In 1981, a multinational research crew in Antarctica encounter an otherworldly entity that has the ability to turn itself into an imitation of a person down to the last fine detail of their identity creating confusion, terror, and paranoia upon the research crew it invades.
This film is very difficult to write as it’s not a 1 to 1 recreation. There’s some differences, along with the order and way the alien mutates, people die, and things of that sort. Along with writing heavy emotional dialogue with anger, fear, worry, sadness, paranoia, etc.. But I’m very excited to work on this one, since it’s not what I usually make 😂😂😂
I’m hoping to release it some time in December but since the film only really has one set, it might be easier to film, and might just maybe have a sooner release date than that 🤞🤞
Today is September 11th. The day when the WTC was hit. As a New Yorker, I’d like to honor a moment of silence to those who suffered in the horrific events back in 2001. I almost lost my father to this horrific event.. he was fortunate to make it out alive and I am forever grateful for that. However, there were many people going about their work life who weren’t as fortunate as my father, and they along with their families have my deepest sympathies. Today marks a day of remembrance, honor, and dedication to my community, especially those back in my hometown in NY.
This Fall, I plan to work on 2 movies at the same time. It’ll be a challenge, but I wanna take it on.
I’ll be filming my own film ‘The Crystallization Array’ which is set in Antarctica 1981 and is basically a GTA Machinima parody of John Carpenter’s The Thing, though it has some minor tweaks and changes. I also plan to hire an animator for the visual alien transformations and will give them 100% freedom of design, level of grotesque, and grossness so I’m definitely excited for that 😂
As for the second film, I’ve teamed up with a group of wiseguys named the Bando Boyz. They’ve proposed a script to me set in 1967 Liberty City (NY) following a group of mobsters and their mafia moments. The film serves as a prequel to their main characters’ arcs and they are providing me with free voice overs which is awesome. Also, I play a brief character in the film who gets chopped up into pieces by meat cleavers, so I’m definitely gonna add that to the OrangeJacket death reel 🤣
So apparently there’s some new AI YouTube update coming out next week with ID checks and other futuristic dystopian crap.. I don’t know how it may affect my channel but most of the shit I watch anyways is on topics from 40+ years ago.. but this update could mess with my uploads and restrict future films, and I hope it doesn’t.. but if it does, I might move to a different platform.. we’ll just have to wait and see.. and no, I will not be giving them my ID, credit card, or selfie.. I do not trust this robotic dystopian system by the thread of one hair..
As far as films go, my next film is set in Antarctica 1981 and will be titled ‘The Crystallization Array’.. I wanna poke my head into Science Fiction again :)
Tried streaming Mafia 2. Looking back at my stream, the sound was bugging out the whole video smh.. not sure I wanna continue if the sound is like that.. oh well 🤦♂️
With 7 scenes left to film for ‘Death & Desire in Louisiana’, I finally encountered my first technical difficulty. This resulted in a fresh install copy of my videogame engine which includes me having to re-mod the whole game again and I’ll try to this all in a one day sitting tomorrow afternoon, but ultimately, it might delay the film unfortunately. This was something totally out of my control and deeply frustrates me in the filming process.. I will update all of my viewers when things are back to normal, but at least I got the fresh copy of the game running and installed :)
