తెలంగాణ మిగులు నిధుల అంశాన్ని పరిశీలించడానికి కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం ఈ కమిటీని నియమించింది.
2)1956 నుండి 1968 వరకు తెలంగాణకు చెందిన దాదాపు ₹102 కోట్ల మిగులు నిధులు ఆంధ్రా ప్రాంతానికి మళ్లించబడ్డాయని ఈ కమిటీ తేల్చింది.

పెట్రోల్ ధరలు పెరగడానికి ప్రధాన కారణాలు ఇవి:
క్రూడ్ ఆయిల్ ధరలు పెరగడం
భారత్ ఎక్కువగా విదేశాల నుంచి క్రూడ్ ఆయిల్ దిగుమతి చేసుకుంటుంది. అంతర్జాతీయ మార్కెట్లో క్రూడ్ ఆయిల్ ధర పెరిగితే, భారత్లో కూడా పెట్రోల్ ధర పెరుగుతుంది.
రూపాయి విలువ తగ్గడం
క్రూడ్ ఆయిల్ కొనుగోలు డాలర్లలో జరుగుతుంది. రూపాయి విలువ డాలర్తో పోలిస్తే తగ్గితే, దిగుమతి ఖర్చు పెరుగుతుంది.
పన్నులు (Taxes)
కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం ఎక్సైజ్ డ్యూటీ, రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వాలు VAT విధిస్తాయి. ఈ పన్నులు పెట్రోల్ ధరలో పెద్ద భాగం ఉంటాయి.
రవాణా మరియు శుద్ధి ఖర్చులు
క్రూడ్ ఆయిల్ను రిఫైనరీల్లో శుద్ధి చేసి దేశవ్యాప్తంగా పంపిణీ చేయడానికి అయ్యే ఖర్చులు కూడా ధరపై ప్రభావం చూపుతాయి.
అంతర్జాతీయ రాజకీయ పరిస్థితులు
యుద్ధాలు, ఒపెక్ (OPEC) దేశాల ఉత్పత్తి తగ్గింపు, మధ్యప్రాచ్య ఉద్రిక్తతలు వంటి కారణాల వల్ల ఆయిల్ సరఫరా తగ్గి ధరలు పెరుగుతాయి.
డిమాండ్ పెరగడం
వాహనాల సంఖ్య పెరగడం వల్ల పెట్రోల్కు డిమాండ్ పెరుగుతుంది. డిమాండ్ ఎక్కువైతే ధరలు కూడా పెరుగుతాయి.
ద్రవ్యోల్బణం (Inflation)
కాలక్రమేణా అన్ని వస్తువుల ధరలు పెరగడం వల్ల ఇంధన ధరలు కూడా పెరుగుతాయి.
