I'm a music producer and vocalist based in Canada, and I make songs by sampling my own vocals with a heavy focus on harmony and lyric-less vocalization. These days I'm mostly focused on producing cover songs as that's proven to be an effective means of sharing my musicality with a larger audience, though most of my history is actually in producing original instrumental compositions.
I got into vocal production as a consequence of a hand injury that prevented me from comfortably producing instrumental music for a few years, and eventually found that using my voice offered me a happy medium of practicality, soul and marketability given my newfound constraints. I'm still in the process of establishing myself as an artist, and am super grateful for the overwhelming support I've received from all of you thus far. So thanks for listening! I look forward to sharing what I've been working on with you.

My full-length cover of ‘Hide and Seek’ by Imogen Heap is out now 🎵 https://youtu.be/XcN-CBaunjQ
I took a different approach with this one than I normally do. Instead of building the arrangement one section at a time and editing things to sound right as I went along, I intentionally held off on any editing during the entire arrangement process until I had a complete rough draft. That enabled me to focus purely on the musical ideas — staying immersed in the creative flow without breaking or complexifying it with technical details along the way.
The last time I did that was for my Hallelujah cover way back, and both were quite creatively “successful” experiences. So I can definitely see myself leaning further into it in the future, depending on the song. Anyway I hope you guys enjoy this one! I’m feeling pretty great about how it turned out :)

Feels good to be back in the studio after a long trip away from the cabin.

This is one of my favorites of Avi Kaplan’s more recent work. This modified version came to me shortly after I got back, so it felt like a nice note to resume my musical sharing with you all.
In other news, I have a big new release coming soon! Drops on December 5th, so be sure to stay tuned for that :)

My album is officially ready for distribution 😊 Comes out next Friday.
I actually arranged these songs back in 2022 after a long break from a cappella music. The short version of the story is that I burned myself out back in 2018 when I first tried building an online presence as an a cappella artist, and needed space to get my orientation right both in life and in my relationship to building a career this way.
This album was the product of when I finally decided to approach it again from a new and more grounded angle—making songs from the heart and being more mindful of the pressures of online growth and exposure. These songs felt right. They were coming from the right place—with the right degree of intention, love and integrity.
And so once I had the pre-masters mostly together, I set out to build an online presence to share them with a larger audience and increase my chances of market success. And to be honest, that process ended ballooning into a lot more than I'd originally planned for or anticipated, both in terms of time/effort and audience growth. But I'm really amazed with how things ended up turning out, and am now in a great position to finally share it with you guys 😊
Over the next few months, I'll be drip-releasing each song while experimenting with different promotional strategies to give each track a solid shot at being heard. But for those of you who'd like to hear it sooner and support my efforts, early access is currently open Patreon, and will be available for purchase on my shop as of next Friday :)
I appreciate you guys! Thanks for coming along this journey with me 🙏💙 Can't wait to finally drop these tracks. First release is 'Circle of Life' 😁

I'm happy to announce that I'll be finally releasing my album Covers, Vol. II on May 23rd!
Here's the official track list:
1. Avi Kaplan - Otherside
2. Wyclef Jean - Sweetest Girl
3. Carmen Twillie, Lebo M. - Circle of Life
4. Hanson - MMMBop
5. Enya - Deora Ar Mo Chroí
6. Imogen Heap - Hide and Seek
This album represents a reconnection with a cappella music after a long break. Back in 2018, I poured a lot into building an online presence while juggling restaurant work and living at my parents’ place. This eventually led to me burning out, feeling like I was making music for the sake of keeping up with an online treadmill rather than creating from the heart.
After a few years of personal and artistic growth, I realized there were still cover arrangements brewing within me that I longed to share, and that the a cappella genre did offer me a meaningful and financially-viable avenue for doing so. The key I realized was in maintaining artistic integrity amidst the pressures of public exposure, which continues to be an ongoing challenge for me.
So in late 2022, I set out to produce these six pieces, pouring more heart into them than any a cappella work I'd done in the past. At the time, I had a relatively small social media following, no TikTok account, and no viral reach. So I committed to growing my audience to give this project a better chance at being heard. Now, I'm happy to say that goal has been achieved—far beyond my expectations tbh 😊
Over the next few months, I'll be drip-releasing each song while experimenting with different promotional strategies to give each one a solid shot at reaching people. But if you’d rather hear them all now, the full album is already on Patreon and will be available for purchase on my website as of May 23rd :)
Thanks for your support guys 🙏💙
