رسول کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا ” آگاہ ہو جاؤ ، تم میں سے ہر ایک نگہبان ہے اور ہر ایک سے اس کی رعایا کے بارے میں سوال کیا جائے گا ۔ پس امام ( امیرالمؤمنین ) لوگوں پر نگہبان ہے اور اس سے اس کی رعایا کے بارے میں سوال ہو گا ۔ مرد اپنے گھر والوں کا نگہبان ہے اور اس سے اس کی رعایا کے بارے میں سوال ہو گا اور عورت اپنے شوہر کے گھر والوں اور اس کے بچوں کی نگہبان ہے اور اس سے ان کے بارے میں سوال ہو گا اور کسی شخص کا غلام اپنے سردار کے مال کا نگہبان ہے اور اس سے اس کے بارے میں سوال ہو گا ۔ آگاہ ہو جاؤ کہ تم میں سے ہر ایک نگہبان ہے اور ہر ایک سے اس کی رعایا کے بارے میں پرسش ہو گی ۔“
