I've been getting some questions about this, so I thought I'd give you a little peek behind the curtain!

Some of you have noticed that my video's thumbnails may appear to change several times over the course of the first few days. You might've seen this from other creators, too! This is because YouTube has introduced a featured called "test and compare," which allows creators to upload up to 3 thumbnail options for each video. Then, YouTube displays these different thumbnails to viewers and keeps track of which thumbnail is most effective. Once it's gathered enough data, it automatically makes the winning thumbnail the permanent thumbnail for the video.

As an analytics nerd, I've been really enjoying this feature! I'm using it for almost every video. So to the people asking "why are you changing the thumbnail so many times??" I promise, I'm not sitting around uploading a new thumbnail every two hours! 😂

BIG wave of scammers this week in my comments! ⚠️ If you get a reply from "me" trying to get you onto WhatsApp, this is a scam. I am not conducting any giveaways, I don't use WhatsApp with fans, and I sure as heck don't want to convince you to invest in crypto 🫠

Here are some quick ways to tell if a comment is from me:
✔️ My username will always have a verified checkmark next to it
✔️ Clicking on my username will take you to my profile (with all my videos and subscribers — not a blank profile)
✔️ When in doubt, you can email me (ginny@ginnydi.com) and ask!

I banned three scammers yesterday, but they can be tough to find, since they use unicode letters/numbers to make them unsearchable, and often reply to comments on older posts so I'm not actively checking them. If you get a reply from a scammer, please report them & give me a heads up so I can ban them. 💛 Stay safe out there!
